throwthisaway
Well my QT that I ordered Sunday from Hookah-shisha.com arrived today, and I'm very happy. Everything was neatly packed, nothing is broken, and they included some extra filters and mouthtips along with a washable hose! I got the grey base, and I'm very pleased with its look. The hookah is very sturdy and everything seems to be nice and air tight. I'm going over to a friend's house to test it out tonight, so I'll have reviews, and if I can find my charger, pictures sometime tomorrow.
frontmanpb101
since i'm one of the seemingly few people on the boards without a QT, i'll anxiously await a review!
.ryan
Wow that's some fast shipping! I've been waiting 13 days for my order with Hookah-shisha.com. I hope customs didn't get their grubby hands on it!
throwthisaway
Wow. That's what I'm feeling right now. I took the QT over to my friend's house tonight and smoked it with 3 people other than myself. It was a really great time. I have no prior experience preparing a hookah (I do however have a firm grasp on how to do it), but I had absolutely no problem whatsoever preparing it all. I first rinsed the base and stem with water, and then shot some lemon juice extract to mix with the water in the base, as we were going to try out the complimentary Romman Lemon shisha provided genorously by hookah-shisha. I got everything going in about 15 minutes, and once the bowl was heated up the smoke and flavor started BILLOWING out of the QT. The lemon juice extract in the base really complimented the already flavorful Romman shisha. There were only a few occasions where the shisha burnt, but I completely attribute that to my lack of experience with heat management with these particular coals (Golden Quick-lites, soon to be replaced with some Japanese coals from the local hookah bar). In all, it was a very pleasurable hookah experience. The hookah smoked great and tasted great, and my friends and I had a great conversation. I think I much prefer private hookah sessions over ones at the local hookah lounge because you don't have your thoughts interrupted constantly by blaring, music, and the hookah is of a higher quality. I'd give the Mya QT a 9/10 (only because I don't have a Tangiers bowl yet), and the Romman Lemon shisha a 9/10 as well -- the session lasted over 2 1/2 hours!!
