Bowl: Small funnel, holes on edge
Coal: 2x japanese

Smell: Dissapointing, smells like a big bar of jasmin soap- really soapy.

Taste: SOAP. The jasmin is there- but under a heavy soap taste. The after taste a second or two after you exahle tastes of a good jasmin, but the smoke itself is much too soapy to be enjoyable to me.

Smoke: On the other hand this milks up very nicely and easily. Im blowing some nice opaque clouds atm.

Overall: Im still on the lookout for a jasmin I like, so far I've tried this and fumari. It tastes like the jasmin flavor in there is nice but ugh the soap!

Al Fakher Jasmin Flavour

Setup: 22" Egyption Hookah
Bowl: Small 25g high fired clay bowl, w/ fake phunnel mod
Hose: MYA ends, and my 3/8 OD tubing
Screen/Foil: Foil, with slits
Liquid In base: water

Cut: typical AF cut mostly leaves a few stems

Smell: Unlit smells like wonderful Jasmin tea.

Taste: Very strong taste of Jasmin, but it is not sweet.

Smoke Thickness: Very thick smoke, couldn't see the TV

Buzz: Slight buzz

Duration: I gave up after 45 mins and threw on something else.

I would give this 5/10 I really didn't like this flavor. I wanted it to taste like my Jasmin tea, and it doesn't. However if you like the smell of Jasmin this is it.

liquid in vase: Tap water, no ice or additives.

Cut: Typical Al-Fakher cut.

Smell: Jasmine

Smoke: Really full

Flavour: Jasmine, like smoking tea

Buzz: Little bit

Duration: Pretty long hour at least.

Rating: 3/10. Very good, if you like Jasmine. If not it gets old, fast. I just knocked down the rating a lot. I couldn't finish the bowl, I started to feel ill... Edited September 21, 2008 by piperjason

Jasmine

Setup - MYA QT, MYA hose, Coconara's, Cold filtered water, MYA Mod bowl

Appearance - I actually had to pick out a couple stems...AF cut though with red dye, juicy...somewhere between Tangiers and Nakhla

Smell - Smells like green tea powder with a flowery arouma

Taste - It tastes amazing, it's like smoking tea...but not green tea, more like the tea one would smoke in a Moroccan or Mediterranean
restaurant, very very good

Buzz - Very little

Smoke - Clouds, typical AF, it was a little more sensitive to heat than most AF

Length - 90 min

Overall - 8.9/10 It was very good, the heat sensitivity took me back a little (I smoked another bowl to confirm this) thus the 8.9 instead of 9, but as long as you know what you're doing it's A-OK. Al Fakher Jasmine:

Smell/Flavor: Smells like a Jasmine flower. Tastes like a jasmine's smell, light in flavor, if it was strong that would be gross.

Cut: Normal AF cut, kinda wetter then normal.

Smoke: Normal smoke levels, little less then other flavors of AF.

Buzz: No buzz.

Amount(approx)/Duration: 1 1/2 hours.

Hookah Type: Km Exotica.

Hose: Km deluxe hose.

Bowl: Tangiers Small Phunnel

Foil/Screen: Hd Ren Foil, lots o' holes

Coal/Amount: 2 Al Awa'el, 2 more to round it out.

Liquid in Base: Aqua

Overall satisfaction (scale 1 to 10): 8/10 Not bad smoke, not something I could smoke everyday.....nice change from all the watermelon I have been smoking lately. If you want a floral tasting smoke this is for you. It takes just like it smells, and thank god its not overpowering cause I could see the flavor making me sick. Will I buy it again no (if my girlfriend likes it, maybe), not cause its bad, its just not something I see myself smoking often. Would I smoke it again, yes

Al Fakher Jasmine

Well, I was on my weekly Bed Bath and Beyond (smoke shop) shopping trip when I was stopped dead in my tracks. She was beautiful. And her scent was more heavenly than any other in this place, this cornacopia of musk and primal scent. The candles in my periphery begged to be lit, allowing the scene to be romace incarnate, but I said "NO! Your smells will only mask my dearest!" I was given a strange look by the clerk who had obviously never experienced truest love and whose olfactory was, I'm sure, closed do to bankrupcy. The mall cop who escorted me from the store had obviously never had a longing such as this, other than for a second helping of Baskin Robbins from the foodcourt. I went home, dejected and sulked. Then I sulked some more. Then I had a beer.

The knock on the door sent me flying to my feet, my knees oh how they wobbled and only partially from the IPA! Could it be? It was. As I unbolted the bolt and unchained the chain my heart and soul were freed! The bonds holding my spirit down were shrugged off like so much string wrapped round the muscles of a raging bull.

She lept straight past me and into my wating bowl, it was the most glorious sight a man could hope to see. The exotica coals belly danced there way through the air to lay atop the foil in the most suggestive of ways. Their sizzle echoed the heat of my blood, eager to taste this bounty, this prize.

The smoke was plenty and the taste was heavenly. The floral taste was not that of soap as some have claimed but that of loose jasmine tea. Exactly so. I was thrilled. I couldn't smoke this every day but when I need a floral flavor rose holds no candle to this gem. The longevity was there as well. The flavor mellowed pleasantly towards the 1.5 hour mark.

You like unusual flavors? You not afraid to admit a love for feminine scents and tastes? Can't get enough jasmine tea? Do it to it and pick this stuff up. Like I said not an everyday smoke but great nonetheless. Very pleasantly suprised. I think the way you taste it may be related to prior jasmine experiences. I tasted tea since I'm a jasmine tea drinker, you might taste soap.

This shisha is strong! The flavour lasted throughout the bowl. The buzz was very relaxing. I was surprised to catch a buzz from this because it's regular AF and that variety of AF has been said to not give a buzz. I also liked the aromatic, mouthwatering smoke on the exhale. Overall: 7/10 This is an okay flavor, but it’s not amazing. It’s a very mild jasmine flavor. Mixing it with another mild flavor will do well but not with something like AF Mint.
