Sonthert
Rapture is coming. Then God will usher all the worthy people (athiests) to heaven and leave the rest of the world for the antichrist and his counterfeit kingdom. One prognosticator predicted which pope would be the one whom saw the anti-christ come to power. That pope would be the one after the one after Benedict XVI.
MrGuy
not as bad as that mermaid that was sold. up until recently, people were selling their souls on ebay too, but that seems to have stopped.
ghostofdavid
The mermaid was hilarious.Sorry, Tangiers, they don't let engineers into heaven. How many prognosticators can dance on the head of a pin?Name a pope that WASN'T thought by a schism sect to be the one to see the Anti-Christ, of if you are Greek Orthodox/Protestant/other to think of the pope as the next Anti-Christ. Besides, the ideas of what you are parroting regarding rapture and pop culture's understanding of it(never mentioned in any solid translation of Greek or Hebrew canon) is so premillenial dispensational. Cyrus Ingerson Scoffield's religious balogna is so antiquitated and rings of late 19th century millenial moralism than Hellenistic Jewish theology, like Paulos of Tarsus. If you really want to make theists made, mentioned to them that the idea of a singular entity pushing against their faith in a persecuting manner known as the anti-Christ comes more from movies than it ever does in their Bible. The context around those who are described as anti-Christ (usually plural) are either those who are preaching a conflicting gospel account mixed with proto-gnosticism or Jews who have adopted the theology of the Jewish sect of Christianity and then returned to animal-sacrificial worship as the saving grace of their faith. And I have just bored the entire community.
Sonthert
I don't think the implication was that the pope after the pope after Benedict XVI was going to be the antichrist, I think it was an indicator of when it would occur.
