pitzeleh8
QUOTE (alyehoud @ Oct 23 2006, 06:24 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>AF Apricot:It's a simple review, but it tasted literally identical to fruity pebbles. Two others confirmed it. Used MYA hose, clay bowl, Enginner nargila from hookah-shishaI can't speak to the fruity pebbles comparison, but I just bought a tub of this flavor and it has quickly assumed rank among my favorite brands/flavors. As with all AF I've had, it produces a thick white smoke (medium-to-high density). I've found the taste delightful, just like apricots. I is sweet without being too sweet. It ranks alongside AF orange and Taru coconut for me. I smoke it in my crane-stem Egyptian hookah, also from hookah-shisha, with a Mya 6' wide hose. Really pretty wonderful stuff. I would highly recommend it for folks not into crazy-exotic flavors (chocolate-mint, cappuccino) or highly-sweet (watermelon) mu'asel. One thing I have noticed with it (along with all my mu'asel) is that it's flavor is vastly different given not only the more obvious factor, such as which sort of coal is being used, but which bowl I use. If I use any of my mu'asels, but especially the AF brand ones, out of my wide Egyptian bowl (glazed all around) then the flavor is fantastic and unmolested (for lack of a better term...). However, if I use my Mya ceramic (regular size) that is glazed only on the outside, the flavor seems, comparatively, somewhat adulterated. This is regardless of the coals used.p8

I am not a big apricot fan when smoking. Love the real fruit. This is a pure apricot taste. It doesn't have the slight floral flavor that most apricot shishas have. I will pick this up again for an occasional smoke.
