Seandoo
Guess who just logged in for the first time since 3ish months ago?Sorry I've been MIA.Anyway...I live in Chico, CA now instead of Orange County. I'm sorry to say I never got a chance to visit Tangiers, but I come back to OC for winter break and summer break so maybe I'll get to it then =)Damnit...where I live, I'm not supposed to even own a hookah since it's "drug paraphernalia"...freakin B.S...and tonight I spent like 2 hours looking for this hookah bar called Nile Cafe that we discovered is no longer in business at the same address. So for now, I'm freakin screwed on smoking hookah! NOOOOOOOOO!So, this is a long shot, but does anybody know of any decent hookah lounges in this area of the state? Sacramento's not fat but I had minimal luck checking there online too...bah.-Seanbtw nice new design on the website!!!
yashman19
I live 20 minutes from Sac, and there is a nice hookah bar real close to SacState called CobbleStone. Good atmosphere, and decent prices at ~$10 per bowl (its been a while since I've been there). Can't help with the Chico area, so if you get desperate and want to make the trek to the Sac area, give me a PM and I'll send you some directions.I also know a GREAT place to buy tobacco/coals for very good prices, also in the Sac vacinity. ~$5 for bags of nat coals (nour, diamante etc.), naklah for $6, amir for 8, havana for 13, tons of accessories and hookahs (they are a distributor of Taqseem brand). So again, let me know if you're interested. Hell, I might even be able to meet you at the hookah bar :)P.S. Welcome back mang.

Seandoo
hahahaThanks for the quick reply, Yash.Yeah, me and one of the people I live with were looking for places in Sac since we can't friggin find one here in Chico, so thanks for the info =) I'll think about going, maybe this coming weekend but we'll see.Haha since the Internet isn't location-based, especially forums, I was surprised to see a reply =) so again, thanks.-Sean
yashman19
Well let me know if you do decide to go to the lounge, and I'll figure out exactly how to get there. As for the local shop where I get a lot of goods, its called the Medeteranian (sp?) Market on Fulton Ave.I live in Granite Bay currently which is right next to Roseville, so I take 50, get off on Watt Ave and exit the freeway going right. Take a left at the first light, which I believe is Fair Oaks Blvd. Go down the road for a few minutes until you come to Monroe Ave. Take a right on Monroe, and it will automatically change into Fulton. Stay on Fulton for a bit, and the Med Market will be on the left side. Just look for the Smart-n-Final on the left, and the Med Market parking lot is right after the Smart-n-final.It's a middle eastern grocery store that has a TON of Taqseem hookahs, and even some regular hookahs, and even the QT, but I think its over $50 bucks. But they have coals for great prices, and decent prices for tobacco.PM me if you guys need any more info.Edit: I forgot, if you prefer to take 80 instead of 50, just take the Fulton exit and exit left off the freeway. It will take a while on Fulton, but the Med Market will be on the right side this time.

I actually need to go pick up my tv tomorrow that is being repaired right off of Fulton on El Camino! I will have to check it out.
yashman19
Let me know your thoughts on the Market, and tell me what you buy(if any) I consider myself lucky to have a store like that so close by, along with Samir from Taqseem hookahs based right out of Sac.Sorry Canadians

ghostofdavid
Welcome, Sir Seanathon!Glad you decided to chime in and bring some harmonizing to the noise. How did the move go? Well, I hope. What school do you go to that considers it drug parapanelia?!
Seandoo
Ah shit I just messed up..clicked the wrong "reply" button after typing my "quick reply".Anyway, thank you very much for the welcome back..I tend to drift in and out of forums a bit.The move was good overall, though it's really hard for my girlfriend who still works where I used to live. CSU Chico considers hookahs drug paraphernalia because I guess last year some kids got caught smoking weed out of their hookahs...where there's a will, there's a way right? But then I wonder what keeps cigs, apples, and anything else from being drug paraphernalia...bleh.So for now, it's just back to the Djarum Specials and Blacks, along with the free pipe tobacco from that oldschool thread =) but yeah I miss my MYA. I wonder if my shisha tobacco is even good since those damn heatwaves. I'll find out when I visit home anyway.-Sean*hopes to click the correct button this time*hahaha
