Johnny_D
export nahkla is actually quite good and comes in a foil package - definitely higher quality than the normal clear plastic wraps. But not universally available JD
DrShisha
Nakhla Red Seal isnt half as good as Nakhla Export For Sure. HOWEVER, one of my friends from Oman told me which i believe to be true, they get weekly shippings of fresh dripping wet nakhla to the country from egypt in barrels and you can buy some like you are buying fruit (i have seen markets like this in egypt too), and he said the first few days when its fresh its the best thing hes ever tasted. The Nakhla we usually get in the boxes, i cannot imagine to be less than a year old (and it still tastes quite good!) , hell iv seen boxes that are dated 5 years back!!! Regarding the Al Fakher boxes etc, i sincerely believe if he is talking about "Dubai Molasses" AF, then i believe that to be a lower grade than the al fakher we have been used to. I have friends in Dubai, and noone has mentioned such things to me as AF local and export *Shrugs*

You dont know how good Nakhla is until you try the export version! A lot of people usually end up smoking grey-market domestic stuff, so they dont know how good Nakhla can get, and that gives Nakhla a bad rep(PS: AF Apple still for the win)
