Scalliwag
my local store had them (33mm) for $10.95 a box. I looked on a few sites and that was better than online. I went to a friends party this weekend and since it was a house I am not used to I decided to pick up quicklights.I am still using the ones I make at home when at the house. I expected the box to cost more. They were damn good for quicklights I admit.

DownZero
SHould be a 100 coals, 10 rolls... if it's a standard box... lol. Thats a good question. It wouldn't be so cool if a box meant 3 rolls or something.
Scalliwag
Yep, it was 10 rolls to a box. I paid $1.50 per roll and got two rolls. If I knew I would have liked them I would have got a box. I think they would be handy at home too when I want to start a bowl pretty quick while letting my naturals get going. hookah whore
I need to buy some good charcoal, and I don't know which to buy. I have only tried Rollands, and they suck! All I taste when I smoke is charcoal! (It also doesn't help that I'm smoking Nakhla, either, though). But I want something thats reasonably priced, lights easily, and above all doesn't taste bad! Any recommendations?

EvansLight
i personally like 3 kings out of all the other quicklights ive tried. Golden are a bit harder to get sparking all the way through. Granted i now use a torch to full light the quick light in under 5 seconds yea im impatient like that.

My poor planning caused me to have to do last minute shopping and I got lucky. One of my friends that knew I was coming called the day of the party and asked me to bring the hookah. If it would hav been $8 per roll I would have got it and took it as a lesson. Lessons usually cost me more than $8 so no biggie there.
Skimo
lmao true true, lets see my last lesson cost me a nasty virus that took millions of pills to get rid of lol no but really, when i get a new hookah you going to sell me a pack of your coals? GenuineHookahs
I agree, three kings are a solid QL coal... My favorite are the 40mm coals made by three kings
EvansLight
i dont really like the 40mm ones, i just stick with 2 of the smaller ones, works for me
GenuineHookahs
ill have one 40mm one roasting alone for about 15 min, then throw on a 33mm..some may think its too much, but i get a flavorful and hardcore thickness
ghostofdavid
I don't like the Golden Coals all that much, I can taste them when I cannot taste 3Kings.
