I work for a company that is growing about 15% a year and all we do is.. what we do.. we dont try that hard and just let it ride. We actually tell people that we cant work for them bc we are too busy. we could grow faster but it would be too stressful. It seems like Eric might be doing something like that.

I used to work for a company that grew as hard and fast as possible. We pushed people until they quit and couldn't hire enough people to handle the work we got. The people who did stay had to pick up the slack to keep from pissing off customers and blowing deadlines.

It sucked. Every day.

Having started and operated a business, I can agree with previous comments. Slow and steady absolutely wins the race. When my gf and I first started our business we were so anxious to get things really moving, and everyone we spoke to said take it slow and steady. That is what we have done and no complaints.
