FedEx has apparently lost my package

Recommended Posts

GRRRR.I have some Tangiers on the way, or at least *did*, from Hookah Company that has been in transit since August 28. Tracking was last updated August 29 as being arrival at a FedEx facility. I've contacted them and they're supposedly looking for it.I want my shisha dangit! I haven't contacted Hookah Company yet since I want to see if FedEx can find the package - it's their problem. If not, I will see what Hookah Company can do, but it isn't their fault.

ALWAYS contact the vendor about shipping errors. They made arrangements to ship.. you probably payed a little more than actual cost for shipping to account for handling.. it should be part of good customer service to follow up on ANY errors affiliated with a sale and delivery of the product.

Lakemonster hit the nail on the head on this one. If they're a reputable company (which they are), it should be them dealing with FedEx, not you. They (Hookah company) should provide you with restitution first, then worry on their own time/money about dealing with FedEx.

I've just sent an email query to HC about it. FedEx called me today and said they still don't know where it is.On a related note, it appears from reading their package regs that they no longer will ship tobacco as of earlier this year. Hm.
Eh, FedEx can be late, slow and dumb, but I'd take that over UPS' playing football and who-can-crush-my-package the most games.
True and neither is a very honorable company when it comes to billing but all-around, UPS does it better. They'll find your house and screw you over less than FedEx will.

UPS is more expensive, but more reliable in my opinion. A customer in PA ordered some stuff and apparently the hub in NY-PA-NJ is real bad and the employees are not as effective as trained orangutans. Anyways, they destroyed my package...I don't know how...they sent it back, it was a mess...20 Kg of Tangiers stuff broken, wet, leaking. Alost made me cry like a little girl. They never did a thing about my insurance claim, either. They rejected it twice. If UPS was more reasonable, I would ship with them all the time. Don't worry, one time I sent three boxes to Hookah Kings, and two arrived one day and the third one the next day. Sometimes theose boxes get lost under a pile of stuff and they can't find them...what am I saying...they are idiots! Tell George and he will take care of it, I'm sure.

my cousin works for fedex and believe me they dont handle the packages with great care and set them down gently, but I've never had a problem with them. Ups does the same thing, but You have to remember they have so many packages all the time. They dont have the time to handle each package with the utmost in care and get them to You in a timely manner, they're on the clock and required to deliver them at a certain time and everybody wants to get off work at the time they're supposed to.

Once I ordered an Archos MP4 player from the states to the UK. On the tracking, it was showing as delivered and signed when it had not come at all. The package was small and worth over $450. Next day I rang them up and they did sort it out.Fedex is VERY expensive for international shipments though. PYH was sending me a package and we calculated the postage using USPS online calculator which was very reasonable. He then went and shipped it using Fedex and he forked out $135 extra from his own pocket. The funny thing is that USPS was going to be shipped 3-5 days for $80 and Fedex was 215 for economy

FedEx called a couple days ago and confirmed that they can not figure out what happened to it. HC will file a claim with them, and once FedEx replies they'll reship. I told them to add a Tangiers funnel bowl to the order when they reship since I didn't know they existed when I placed the order. The person on the phone gave the indication that they've been having some issues with FedEx recently.

Okay, checking tracking on this new shipment it says that it should arrive tomorrow, but like the last one, it hasn't moved from the FedEx location in CA (in this case, since the 16th). What do you want to bet they lost this one too?FedEx is really starting to piss me off I should have had my stuff on the 1st of this month.
