Scrappydoo
Havana ColaSet up: Large Syrian with baked clay bowl, standard leather hose, foil cover, tap water and ice in the jar. Coconara and Japanese coals I like Coconara, my friend likes Japanese, it seemed to make no real difference.Packaged in a foil resealable envelop, inside a plastic container, inside a plastic wrapped and sealed box. A little of the juice had leaked out and stained the inside of the box. Appearance: Brown, course cut, very moist. I removed about 10 stems while packing two bowls.Smell: Mild, Sweet, like colaSmoke: Thin at first, then at "full bloom" was one of the best I've ever had. Thick, pure white, sweet, flavorful puffs.Flavor: Long time to start up (again it might be me and my coals) but once it was full bloom it was straight sweet colaflavor, very nice! At the end, it started to get nasty.Buzz: Slight buzz. Nothing to write home about (but I am rarely "buzzable!")Duration: About an hour and a half.Use again? Definitely. Overall: Tasted like cola, pure and simple. No aftertaste, just the right sweetness. The smoke was amazing.
