Overall: 6/10 I was relatively surprised at the smoke. Never had a real good Layalina experience. This shisha can be boiled down to something like this...Start with Nakhla Cherry, add more medicine taste, and take away the buzz and you got this shisha spot on. It's a good smoke but I bet the medicine taste will be too much for most. I like Nakhla Cherry and this one I was taken aback by the amount of medicine taste.

Layalina Golden

Cherry Amaretto

Set up; Large Syrian, standard clay bowl and leather hose. Tap water
and ice in the base. Coco Nara coals. Three at first, then added a
fourth.

Cut; Finely cut, very few stems. Dark red in color and pretty juicy.

Smell: WOW! Sweet, warm, almondy amaretto set off by bright cherry.

Duration: 1 hour, 15 minutes

Smoke: Not the best clouds I've ever had but not bad. The flavor of the smoke was milder than I expected,
good for a beginner. The taste was amazing, though! At first the Amaretto was predominate, but then the cherry took over for a good balance. I have to say this is one of my new favorites!

Buzz: I would say average buzz. I have been fasting all day but it was not on an empty stomach.

Overall: I would give it a 9.5, not perfect, but pretty darn close!

[b]Overall:[/b] 9.5/10 I mixed this in a bowl with some AF vanilla. I'm used to vanilla being a very light flavor, even for AF and AF makes a potent vanilla. I'd say a 60-40 mix of vanilla with the cherry amaretto. The cherry amaretto overpowered everything. It was such an amazing flavor. It takes to heat quite nicely too. I added a third coal about 15 minutes into the session and it was perfect from there. Big clouds, big flavor. Assuming this wasn't a fluke, Golden Layalina is a keeper in my book. Great first impression.
