Majeth
Anyone that can recomend some good tunes for listening while smoking? Something that brings forth the philosopher in everyone is what I'm looking for.(The darker and melancholier, the better.)Thanks

oryon1033
I can't stand arabic music for the most part(Even though I'm Lebanese and grew up with it). Usually has the same damned beat, and being a drummer I can't get used to the same pulse over and over again. I have officially dubbed Dredg the official hookah music. I don't know why. If you listen to them and disagree I understand cuz it is a bit weird, but it works for me. Give it a try.

oryon1033
I'd kill myself if I was listening to country while smoking. O god... The thought is killing me.
Majeth
I would have to agree on that. With the base marching forwards the same way in every song.... *shrug*
oryon1033
I don't know I usually mix it up. Some days I'll listen to classic rock, others metal. Sometimes I'll slow it down, and speed it up. It depends on mood entirely for me. But no damn country or arabic music! Even though arabic is probably the most appropriate, I just won't do it. Krautle87
I don't mind the Egyptian music at the hookah bar or an Arabic resturant, at home I'll listen to some O.A.R., I don't think "Love and Memories" or "Hey Girl" are that deep, but "Crazy Game of Poker" could be philosophical if you wanted it to. Or just good kicking back and smoking music.
al-bab
for arabic music I would suggest going to 6arab.comYou will have to be able to read arabic though.
Tballa
Ok am I the only one who listens to rap music? I'd say the best smokin music is some of the deep Tupac like "Changes", "Until the End of Time", "Do For Love", or my fav "Better Dayz". I love the slow west coast style beats that are so chill! You also can't go wrong with some R&B like boyz to men, Freddy Jackon, Keith Sweat, Luther Vandross, and maybe some Marvin Gaye. Anyone else with me?
