Nobodyaintme
Hi! So I asked my flat-mate if he has ever had the pina colada flavour. He thinks and responds by saying no I haven't done the flavour but I've drank it, so technically yes I have. It took me a moment to get around what he was saying, quite random and then I thought that isn't true. For example, I don't like the lemon flavour so much, but in real life, I love to have lemon on my Indian food! Creates a much better taste. So I challenge him on this and say no, its not the same. He comes back and says it is totally the same. So I ask him, what flavour is in his tub. He says whatever it says on the tub, so I open it up and say its grape. Now, would you eat the grape flavour in here? He said no, its the extract. So I said, it isn't the same then is it? But he was pretty adamant it was. So I wondered what you would think? Do you think the shisha flavour and the actual product of the flavour is the same thing? And some reasoning behind your thoughts would be pretty cool
Skoozle
Tyipcally, no. Static Starlight doesnt taste exactly like photons eminating from a star yet somehow not moving. Obviously some flavor names don't really refer to actual flavors. There are other flavors like double apple and Mizo Peach that are a little deceiving. But there is the rare flavor that is spot on. If someone asked me what a Lychee taste like, and I didn't have the fruit on hand, I could set up a bowl of Mizo Lychee and show them exactly what a Lychee taste like.
Arcane
I don't think ANY hookah tobacco flavors exactly mimic it's namesake except maybe Tangiers Orange Soda and Tangiers Maraschino Cherry. I just don't think it's possible. There are flavors that get close, but there's just something that can't be replicated with fresh fruit or a real pina colada. I think Orange Soda and Maraschino Cherry's ability to come close to it's namesake is because the flavors are artificial to begin with. Epoch
I suppose all mu'assel strives for accuracy in flavor... Generally they aren't spot on, but you'll find plenty that you find to be close enough. Personally, I think that Fumari "Blueberry Muffin" has the most uncanny accuracy ever. Coyote
Tyipcally, no. Static Starlight doesnt taste exactly like photons eminating from a star yet somehow not moving.
What are you talking about? Yes it does. Phft. I'm not sure how to describe flavor stuff. Lets say you have an actual grape... grape is a complex flavor, you may have slight floral, grass, jamminess. Each of these flavor characteristics has a different chemical structure which respond to heat and humidity in a different way. You may notice flavors tend to change as you smoke the bowl. More volatile compounds vaporize out first and the mellow background flavour might last throughout the bowl. So complex these flavours are! So some flavours are easier to create the natural off-the-vine taste than others. Also there are lots of types of grapes... green grapes taste different than red grapes which taste different than concord grapes. I think Tangiers grape is excellent. More like a big juicy concord grape imo.
