New Shisha Brands

Recommended Posts

so within the past six months ive seen quite a bit of new shisha brands popping up and i was just curious if anyone has tried them, what there thoughts are and if they are worth carrying in a retail hookah shop. a lot of coals have been coming on the market too. anyone have insight to this topic?

Coals are constantly flooding in, as everyone tries to one up each other and make the cheapest coal possible, which is a terrible way to do it IMO.

As for shisha brands, I haven't really heard of any new brands lately..? There are new flavors or lines in existing brands, but nothing entirely new worth mentioning (to my knowledge.) Edited by fuckthatvincekid

It's not really new brands, there have been some new ones, but none not really worth mentioning that I can think of. Rather there are new lines of already great brands... New ICE line from Nakhla, and new Birquq line from Tangiers. Also, Tangiers is working on a Burley line, which is Noir but uses Burley tobacco instead.

Haha, QFT! I didn't want to say too much, but the stuff is pretty much amazing. I want to smoke it again today, but I really need to review some other flavors for Eric.

well i know that the brands listed have at one point or another been mentioned as kind of crappy, more so paradise and king molasses. And the coals check out the review section i think there are a few in their of bamboo coals

King isn't new it is a revival from a failed venture from a few years ago and will fail again if the product is the same. It's about the same quality as Jewels and twice as bad, if possible

If you guys want to know more about Burley, I have some Burley Cane Mint as well. I can let you guys know how it goes.

Mush, should we make a section for the Burley line in the reviews section? I can post my review of Burley Static Starlight there, and the Cane Mint too once I try it (probably this week or next).

I also have an experimental Birquq flavor... Guess I could post that one as well, if we're allowed to post reviews for flavors that haven't been released yet. Why I ask.

Yeah I finally opened my CB-line. Its fantastic. It wasn't at all like I was expecting... to me it tastes like Zaghloul but with Tangiers flavour. But its much smoother. Definitely more tolerant to heat and the clouds are very dense and pillowy. Once I have a little more experience with the line I'll post a more in depth review.
