  1. 1. Which Brands of Shisha Tend to have the Most Potent Flavor?

Recommended Posts

I've set the poll to allow multiple answers. I want to know: which brands of shisha, in your subjective opinion, have the most potent flavor?

All brands have multiple varieties within them, but which brands stand out to you as those which have the post potent flavors within their varieties?

I have tried around 10 flavors of Nahla, and while impressed by the buzz from the high nicotine content, have been less impressed with the flavors in regards to their POTENCY. I.e., I can without a doubt taste the flavoring, but it does not stick out to me, as, say, e-liquid flavoring does.

Thank you!

I voted tangiers, fumari and nakhla

with the other brands on the list i get a very strong chemically taste that overpowers the flavor it is supposedly supposed to mimic

tangiers has some of the most potent flavors i've ever had (i.e. cane mint, kashmir, cocoa)

fumari i've only had a handfull of flavors from, but the ones i've tried are easily more potent than the others in the list

nakhla has some very potent flavors. some are a bit heavy on the tobacco tones, but many of their mixes and mizo line flavors are extremely potent

I voted for the first Al Fakher, Nakhla and Tangiers.

But it really depends on the flavor. I only voted Al Fakher for their Double Apple. Nakhla Mizo Peach, Ice Lemon Mint and Orange Peach are all strong flavors. Tangiers has some real knock out flavors as mentioned above and some with almost no flavor at all so you have to be careful what you get.

I love really strong flavors, so I understand your quest.

You cant really generalize by brand but I would recommend Nakhla Mizo and Ice lines as well as some carefully considered Tangiers.

My wife won't let me smoke Kashmir Peach in the house because it is so strong she can smell it 2 floors up. And she is a hookah smoker. And she likes K Peach. She likes to smoke it outside but not inside. Its that strong.

wow I haven't tried as many brands as I thought.. Out of the ones Ive tried fumari and TAng seems to be the overall strongest. However i do agree that some brand just has certain flavors stronger than others. I hear romman is great and even the new Hookah-Hookah stuff isn't bad either.

I have tried most of these brands, but not all the flavors.  I think Al Fakher and Tangiers, starbuzz, fusion, laylani, fumari, fantasia have strong flavors but it also depends on what flavor you get.

I don't see how shisha affects the flavor. But any good Egyptian pipe should give basically the same smoking experience

There are many factors that affect the flavor. Type of tobacco used, production process, heat management, type of hookah used (a shitty Chinese hookah is going to REALLY affect the flavor compared to a better quality hookah), bowl type used (some flavors are just better in a regular Egyptian, or vice versa in a phunnel), and hell, even the gauge of the hookah... I think Syrians, Turks, and Myas give more flavor than Egyptians because the pull is tighter, making the vapor more concentrated. What about the tealight mod? I also find that it increases flavor since you're forcing air more through the tobacco versus using the phunnel as you regularly would. I could go on...

Anyway, I voted Tangiers, Nakhla, Al Fakher, and Shiazo. Those are the brands that I've had the most potent flavors with.

I voted, Al Fakher, Tangiers and Fumari. ~

I live close enough where it is easy to have access to Tangiers and Fumari with out ordering through another retailer and the like. And have found that to be extremely satisfactory because I can make sure that the shisha I am receiving is actually what it should be. Not some hot mess that smokes with the flavor of a crayola.

I'd have to say one of the worst ones up there has to be Hookah Hookah. It is so dry and unenjoyable it makes me want to fling them :I.

Fusion used to be excellent before they switched to washed and started making fan boy flavors.

They do still have a few gems as most brands do.

see im not the only one, but there melon mint is pretty good man

Haven't bought Fusion in years. I started sampling flavors before their switch and after, I was so turned off, I couln't bring myself to order it any more.

The couple Fusion flavors I had... I threw away. They were from after the changes, though.

Romman, on the other hand, I rather enjoyed. Their Blueberry and Chocolate Strawberry were really good. Ivory Coast and Good Times are obvious staple flavors. Only reason why I don't buy or rep the stuff is its price.

At any rate, The most potent in terms of flavor?

For the most part, tangiers. In fact, some of tangiers flavors were too potent (yes that is possible).

Nakhla is hit or miss for me, but some of their bacs are very potent in terms of flavor density. I'm not knocking nakhla either. It is probably my favorite brand.
