DCShisha
This guy's retail location prices are understandably higher than buying from an online presence--most likely with a warehouse backing them up. I've been to cigar bars before where a simple wooden humidor was priced at close to $80--you can buy the same thing online for $35. My take is that you stop in at the retail place if you absolutely need a new hose, box of shisha, etc.--an impulse buy.

Lukasa
I guess I'm only a little miffed that Roger is promoting his forum on this forum. I'm sure the owners of this forum, who ask nothing of us, wouldn't like competitors advertising, trying to take traffic from this site.
Does this site even generate revenue? I don't think it matters. Nobody is going to defect to a dinky forum like that when we already have a pretty ideal hookah community here.
That couldn't be any farther from the truth, even if you found the worst priced distributor in your area, I don't think it would amount to anything near him being able to reasonably charge $7 for 50g of AF....And that's with prices from your everyday wholesaler/distributor in mind, not any warehouses...And they do bank on the impulse buy, which is why they rarely see return business on tobacco/acessories once that person realizes they could have bought the same hookah online for 1/2 the price if not better, and the tobacco/accessories for a fraction of the price. I do think it is more of an impulse buy because of lack of knowledge on prices available instead of needing it immediately. But hey, I guess that's just in my experience with it being not only a company, but also as a consumer in the past in similar situations.
Sonthert
Your right, Lukas, but its a matter of propriety. Since they make no money from the forum, other than donations, they must personally derive some pleasure/utility from having the site, here. If fewer people come by, then whatever they get from having the site, is lessened. Lets put it a different way, most people would get hella mad if you came over and asked their special lady friend for a BJ. True, there's no money involved, true its unlikely she's gonna do it, but you're movin' in on another man's range, on his dime. He doesn't keep her around to blow other guys...does anybody have any idea what I'm talking about?A little flirting may or may not be OK, depending on the person, but there is a line.
