Seattle Steam
I've been steaming a lot lately and am loving it but I want to start making my own mixes. Does anyone know where I can get the vleaned dry volcanic rock? Im talking about the stones without any flavor yet. Thanks
mushrat
Don;t have to be volcanic. Mya Stones are quartzite.

Hellz
Actually, you can find volcanic rock at any home improvement center, or aquarium store. If that's what you want to use anyway. You'd just have to break it up a bit yourself. If cleanliness is something you're worried about, you of course can use hot water to wash them off. And if you're ultra worried about microbes and such use a pressure cooker to sterilize them. You might also be able to pick up quartzite at the same places, maybe additionally a science store may know where to procure that as well.
