Chreees
A member was recently scammed in the Trades section. Use the following guidelines when trading to avoid this from happening to you: 1) Use your common sense. If a member with hardly any posts is selling something, it's wise to be skeptical. 2) Never send your payment "as gift," which means you will be unable to file a claim later on if you never get the item. Always send "as payment" so you can file a claim! 3) Feel free to request from the member a picture of the item(s) for sale, along with a piece of paper with their username and date on it. Having the item and paper in the same picture proves they indeed have the item in their possession. Remember, Hookah Forum is in no way responsible if you are a victim of a scam. Contact the moderation team if you are scammed, but understand we are limited in what we can do. Thank you.
