Tyler
Did AF stop making their large solid models?
Twitchy
i believe so, but i know a guy on another forum phoned and asked, even though im sure many have lately and surprise surprise they found one left in the warehouse and he got a large solid for whatever price they charge then sold it for double haha
Chreees
Yes, no longer made. You should have already known this, though? Don't you own the Medium or Large Solid?
Tyler
I have a v1 Large Solid but it's getting close to being 5 years old lol, was looking to replace it :(
Chreees
First gen??? Dude, that thing is priceless if it is indeed a first gen... You know how rare and wanted those are??? I'd hang onto that if I were you... And it will be very hard to replace it anyway. Why does it need to be replaced? A good hookah should last longer than 5 years with proper care and maintenance. A Sharrp SYBIAN
Is it falling apart or something ? A 1st Gen AF large solid is a pipe i always wanted to get. I have a New never used Camilla on the way from Hookah Company if your AF large Solid is indeed a 1st gen and doesnt have any serious problem's i'd be happy to trade you my new nour Spear. I also have a new 32* 29s Nour that is very heavy has a base tray and comes on a Jumbo Base if you would prefer that for a trade. I will post up pics of my Nour spear Nautilus / Camilla once i get it :-)
Tyler
I am not getting rid of it lol it's just starting to show some use after 5 years of basically daily use, but I think it's time to retire it. The stem is starting to show some red rot and something on it from the water, I've taken good care of it but I think I'd like something a bit newer. Oh well

Tyler
So what generation are they on now? I went to the actual AF website http://www.alfakheronline.com/AF_Large_Solid_Hookah.htm and found that. It's more expensive than I paid (I got mine for $95) 5 years ago with basically the same "extras." What is different now than the v1s?
Adamrice23
Some same quality although I have a first gen and second gens and both are top notch quality, the first gens are harder to find and also there are some differences to the looks as well. Adamrice23
Also, size differences. The first gen had 2 sizes and the 2nd gen had 3. I have pics of all of them except for the first gen large in my collection I think.
