jimz
Hi guys , wanted to ask your opinion to what i am building , i saw the simple design of soguk pipe, and was just wondering if i could make something like it , what i need : pvc tube copper / stainless pipe end caps for the pvc tube method : drill pvc end caps so pipe can fit ( seal it with hot glue?) seal 1 end of tube with cap fill with water seal the other end of the tube rubber hose so the MYA hose can fit refrigerate and enjoy is the idea viable ? thanks
mani
a few things - remember water expands so dont fill it to the top instead of water why dont you get those freeze packs - big blue plastic things - i'm not sure but i think they have a mixture to make it last longer - use that instead of water. mustang67n
WHy use metal at all? I mean.. you could make the entire think out of pvc without any problems, right? small pvc inside big pvc. or just run the rubber hose on the inside of the pvc and the icepacks on the outside of the rubber hose but inside the pvc. this way you don't have to worry about the metal at all.. but then idk how well the rubber will hold up in the freezer over and over again.. ok.. i'd stick to the pvc inside pvc.
