Recommended Posts

Because i can't find it anywhere on the internet. Here is a picture for anyone who knows..

Any thoughts about it? It smokes really well as it's my first hookah. I just wanted to get info about it online but I didn't find it so I turned to this site to see if you guys know anything of it.

Welcome! Not sure what you mean by fake. It's Chinese, though...

Thanks! That did actually help! Now i don't know everything about hookahs. But it being Chinese, is that a good or a bad thing about it?

Hate to be a downer, but GENERALLY it's a bad thing. Chinese pipes are usually badly made and will wear out and/or rust fairly quickly (the exception to this is Mya Saray, which is made in China but designed by a Lebanese company). Glad it smokes well, but don't be surprised if that doesn't last long

Generally it's a bad thing. However not all Chinese pipes are bad. Mya's are great chinese hookahs.

not fake just chinese the pipe will be alright for awhile just be aware chinese pipes will rust .. its smart to buy solid brass pipes because they will last waay longer

*sigh* and don't foget, While the Mya STEMS may be chinese made, they do have Romanian/bohemian glass bases. :)

But, to the OP, if it works, then enjoy it. Cleaning it regularly and making sure the ports and such don't freeze up will help prolong it's life. I've seen some pretty crappy Egyptian hookahs in my time as well so a pipe being made in the middle east isn't necessarily a guarantee  of quality either. :)

I bought some natural coconut coals today and i am wondering how light them when i don't got any pan/burner coil so i am wondering if it will work to ignite it with an outdoors storm kitchen type of thingie? Reply ASAP cuz i am going to do this soon.

Good choice on getting natural coconut coals! You shouldn't have any issues lighting with an outdoor burner, it just might take a bit longer to get them going than on a coil burner. Blowing on them/using a fan to ensure they are completely lit (grey ash covering them, with a light red glow beneath, no black spots remaining) will also help to get them going quicker, once they have started to light.

Once, at a party, I had 3 people holding lighters under a single Kanara to get it going, even then it wouldn't stay lit haha!

I never said it was easy :D lighters, then blowing, then more lighters, and more blowing... it gets one side of the coal going, then you try to piggyback whilst furiously blowing air on the coals... yeah, takes a while.

They tried so hard lol, it was funny watching them freak over lighting one coal, then I said, you know we need a minimum of 2 right? Their faces were priceless.
