Great end to a shitty week!

Okay, a bit off topic to start. scroll down to the good stuff if you want.Last friday my car was broken into.Pass window shattered.Girlfriends purse with digicam ipod and wallet stolenMy backpack with laptop digicam ipod books, cds, comp stuff, etc stolen.Monday the cat of the woman i house-sit for died (it may as well have been my cat)tuesday my desktop hard drive dies, so now both the computers I have my shit on (you know, a backup...) are toast. Then i get a parking ticket at school because i left my permit in my carWednesday my girlfriends dad goes to the emergency room with kidney problems.Thursday one of my eight cats, Coo, who only has one eye, develops an infection from a scratch in his eye; and can barely see. And i break my favorite bowl (the one with windcover and screen, for sure im buying another one. I love it)Shitty goddamn week!Now we come to today.I get a check from my parents to buy a new laptop, and ipods for me and my girlfriend. (they're buying stuff now, and taking the check from insurance co.)My QT arrives 10 minutes after i get home.so i did a bowl of layalina cherry, and promptly burnt the fuck out of it, cause I NEVER use foil or quicklights, but i used both this time.Now im using Afzal Lemon-Lime which i bought today to make myself feel better after work.And the QT is fucking amazing.Now i understand the hype.Or maybe my Nour isn't a great one.Or maybe it was the screenBut this thing has worked amazingly with absolutely no effort on my part.REVIEW:Afzal Lemon - Lime.Cut: Standard Afzal, by which i mean its almost like a powder with goo. Its really really really finely diced.Smell: definitely a lemon-lime smell, but kinda off, can't describe it. Not bad, but not one that makes you wanna keep sniffing.Setup: QT with foil and 1/2 a stick of Japanese Easy lights (sultan brand, but i really like em, but very little experience).Smoke: literally the second i put the coals on i heard it sizzle, and its been hitting with the same amount of smoke i get from my big one on the best days.Taste: Lemon-Limey. Sorta like it smells, i like it. Would be good mixed with something but not bad alone.Buzz: All afzal hits me hard, and this is no exception. Definitely unwashed, but i can't compare it to the really strong brands (tangiers). On par with Nahkla and the Splash stuff i had.Rating for Afzal: 8.5/10Im not a huge fan of the massive buzz but its good flavor IMO. Plus it comes with free mouthtips and my scale (albiet not an amazingly accurate one) put the bag at 57g.QT: 9.5/10.I love this thing. It took me no time to get it going.Customhookah (where i bought it from): 8/10I didn't get so much as a confirmation email that my package was being sent. But i ordered it tuesday and it came today (friday). FAST.And thus ends my long ranting post.

Damn, sorry to hear about your week. Shit's not so great for me either. But it's good that at least things looked up a bit. Awesome how a good smoke can make everything better, even if it's for a small amount of time.

Hey!Sorry to hear you had such a terrible week, but it sounds like it is getting much better. What colour of QT did you end up getting? I have the sky blue one and it looks awesome. What about your Nour do you not like, if I may ask? I am semi in the market for one because I've heard so much hype surrounding Nour pipes.Enjoy that Layalina!

I got the skyblue one; I was gonna order from H-S but they didn't have it in sky blue and thats what I wanted. I love it.The nour is great, it was my first hookah and it smoked geat. Brass all the way through, and it smokes great. The things i don't like about it:1. HEAVY.2. Screwing the whole thing together is a hassle so...3. Cleaning it is a bitch.It smokes great, it's impossible to get it harsh, but i realized pretty quick that the QT gets thicker, if less tasty smoke.I like layalina, but i gotta say the cherry just doesn't do it for me. I bought a tub a while back and i keep trying again cause I LOVE CHERRY FLAVOR. It doesn't matter what it is. I'm gonna try another brand's cherry if someone can give me a review.Also, Layalina has like more stems per tub than every Al Waha and Splash ive used, combined.But it smokes great, and the light buzz is a definite plus!
