DizzyGuy
Hmm, sounds interesting... I'm intersted in trying one of the bowls carved out of fruit or w/e... I've never seen how to do it, but it's another fruit thing that could be cool. Yes, tell us how the fresh fruit mix works and how exactly to do it Pics also are a great asset
EvansLight
added honey, but that was to save almost dead shisha. Other than that no, didnt think it would go all that good.

Seandoo
Last year, some spoke of slicing lemons and/or limes to put in the water with whatever flavor shisha that it sounds good with...supposedly helps it taste "fresh". Others spoke of making bowls from orange halves and apples..some really liked it and some said it wasn't worth the mess. Bottom line - take some initiative and try whatever you'd like, and don't spend too much time on carving your first fruit bowl in case you don't end up liking it
Sonthert
Back in the day, we used to smoke Nahkla apricot (there were only five flavors available, plus zaghloul) with lemon slices in the water. Since flavors were few, the variance often came from how it was prepared, lemon slices, lime wedges, Arak, etc.

Sonthert
Arak/raki is an anise/brandy liqueur, similar to Ouzo, but with brandy added.
