squidget
There was a thread 6 weeks ago where someone was talking about picking up the Tank. The thread got me interested and I bought one. I've had it for a month now and I love it. I will do a full review eventually but for now, enjoy some pics! full album: http://imgur.com/a/u7YmY#0 There was a pretty large box on my doorstep to fit all this all pretty and laid out. I got one of each hose type; glass & metal. I love the look of the metal but love the feel of the glass more. the hookah itself is only 3 pieces. base, bowl and downstem. No grommets! No hose ports, no threads, no washers or ball bearings. Super easy cleaning two draws and all smoked up!

Grim_Puffer
Nice, I wish I could afford one of those! I am in the market for a new hookah for my birthday so I will be thinking about these and a few others. Let us know how it is.
DrSmokes
Looks cool, that's for sure! Would be much easier sitting that on my table than a reg hookah.
squidget
VERY interesting, how we'll does it smoke? smokes fantastic! This will be my last ever hookah. The only thing I want is a bigger bowl for party sessions (which I understand they are working on.) The standard bowl holds about 25g.
ilikemyusername
You had BETTER knock on some serious wood
ilikemyusername
And for a party hookah, I'd buy a 32 inch non branded Egyptian. Party types won't know the difference
squidget
You had BETTER knock on some serious wood I don't think that would be necessary - the glass is quite thick. And with the low center of gravity (and high suface area) - this is probably my most stable hookah.

Chreees
Looks awesome! Congrats on the pickup, and hope you enjoy it for years to come. And yes, please review it, as Mush mentioned. We have the greatest review section of any hookah forum, so lets make it better! :)

Yeah - I had hit 7 pipes. After the last move I had to sell a bunch of stuff for space. It kind of broke the collectors bug in me. As such - I need to gear up for another sale soon. :)

Click
How much are the fumos? There's a brand local to me, called Lavoo, that's making a strong market share here. Lounges are switching their entire hookah line to Lavoos and people are paying a premium to smoke them. They seem to be really solid and have not seen one break yet. If you have the money then definitely splurge but I personally wouldn't outfit them in a lounge because you would need a lot of turn over to get your investment back. I paid $471.00 for my package. This included the base/downstem, 2 hoses, 2 bowls (standard and blue variant), 6 side plugs (standard and blue variant), 1 purge valve (for multi-hose use), tongs, wooden carrying case and shipping. I've been seeing the lavoo's around - not sure how they compare. In the beginning I saw quite a few broken lavoo pics on reddit but not so much these days. Perhaps they've modified their glass? The glass on the Tank I have to say is damn thick. The most fragile piece IMO is the downstem. Everything else (bowl, hoses, plugs, base) I handle w/o fear.
