ApoC
I had great experiences with thehookah.com. Excellent service. However, I prefer the selection at www.hookahcompany.com , and their customer service is INFALLIABLE. we ran into a shipping delay with USPS (usps is a bad choice, by the way), and the owner kept close contact the entire time, until the issue was resolved. I'll buy my hookah and shisha there from now on. My highest recommendations!
MR Bubble
Hey George, thanks for the samples which arrived today. I'll smoke them when I can "uninfect" my infected sinuses . I can vouch for the Egyptian hookah thing as well. I used to scrub the Sinai looking for the best hookahs and most people would be sickense with the results. Egyptians are not known for quality, but damn, they are the coolest people. They will sell someone a bucket with a hole in the bottom, just because it is a bucket and the hole can be patched. No big deal. I found one place that had literally hundreds of hookahs. None were assembled. The shafts were all in plastic bags laid on shelves on one side of the shop. The next wall was shelves with hundreds of bases. The next wall had hundreds of different hoses. Hookah Mecca! Talk about a religious experience! Anyway, I found the highest quality solid shafts and even they have pitting in them from the casting or forging process (before they were turned on the lathe). No two are the same. Their flaws are all unique. Some are not even perfectly straight. I had one for a week and then I noticed a major air leak. Turned out the outlet tube had a longitudinally running crack about an inch or so. Damned Egyptian pipe. I just realized the bucket theory, broke out the tube of GE silicone sealant, and it is now my most air-tight, best smoking machine yet. Funny how those Egyptian pipes are Pecker Stroker? Mathazar
Sorry George, you're right, once is ENOUGH. I shouldn't continue to bash the Al-Amir. And I won't anymore. Take Care Man
ApoC
I've had great experiences with Al-Amir. the first 250g box i had was double apple, which i got bored of, but ive got jars of peach, grape, and strawberry now, and all three are EXCELLENT. Top notch shishas!
Mathazar
I wish I could find ONE good Strawberry, but I've been unsuccessful up to now. Considering my bad Al-Amir experience, I'm unlikely to buy that again. On the other hand, if I could be convinced that Al-Amir Strawberry is the BEST, I'd buy truckloads of the stuff What do ya say, George, is it the BEST? Please convince me!!! Samples???
