Nerdy
That's how I am with most of the sweet berry flavors too. It will smelll great but when smoking, little to no flavor. It's a but discouraging. Idk if it's a heat thing or not, but what I found out was, was the more even the heat distribution the better the flavor and smoke. So instead of 2 full coal on opposite sides, try 3 halves or something like that. It might be a placebo effect but with Aussie Juice, that's what worked for me.
Skoozle
I got the same with Boysenberry. Tried several things a while ago to fix it but never got anywhere. One think I didn't try but will next time is; after you get the bowl smoking, try to use as little coal as possible and still keep the bowl smoking. I think too much heat will dull the flavor. Use Golden Canary or Fumari coal if you can.
mushrat
if it smells good, then it does sound like a heat issue. I've never had this trouble with either and i smoked a lot of bramble.
Stuie
I haven't had trouble unless it was too much heat, Birquq I use like 2 coco halves or 3 Jap halves when smokeing on a mini Perfect flavor!
â€On
Never had any problems with any of the variations/lines of this flavor. That's strange, especially considering our proximity.

mattarios2
Yah I had issues w blue gumball, always smelt like soy sauce, never would acclimate, and when it seemed to, it just smelt slightly sweet and tasted like almost nothing.
Pavo21
Yeah mattarios same with me man. And I live in the same climate. Idk I have up on it. same with melon blend all the way
mattarios2
Melon blend always smelt funky for me, and always tasted a bit funky no matter what I did to it, just like blue gum ball. Wanted to try it again but am kinda meh about it. This is one of the reasons why I, and probably others, like to stick with X amount of flavors and not experiment with other flavors. Unless it sounds insanely amazing to me, I usually just stick with my usual favorites. Other than a handful of flavors, as long as the flavor guides on .us say the humidity resistance is good or above, I have been pretty good with most flavors I have tried. Arcane
If there's some flavor on the first couple of pulls, then it dies out...your mouth may be coated with a thin film (although, I don't remember if Boysenberry and Brambleberry are oily flavors). Take a drink of something in between a few pulls and you should be able to taste the flavor again. If there's no flavor from the start, then you're probably doing something wrong. Too much heat is most likely the culprit, if that's the case.
Coyote
BGB is one of those flavours that never smokes the way it smells. I've heard the smell compared to old gym socks lol. But I've never had a problem getting the taste to come through fine. curious.
