First Time Using My Km Trimetal

Recommended Posts

I must say, what an experience.  Totally different that what I have ever smoked from before.  Everything from the pull to the sound it made while smoking made me realize how well put together this hookah is.  When I first handled it I was amazed by the beauty and craftsmanship that went into it, but nothing could have prepared me for how well it would smoke.  The pull was effortless, though it did take a little longer to get started than my QT (though I attribute this to the size difference).  I packed the bowl (Egyptian) with AF Kiwi and used two CH Natural nats placed on either side of the bowl and went through 2 rounds of coals (~2hrs) and it still had flavor.  Put it aside for the day (since I have work later tonight and need to get ready) and will continue the bowl either tomorrow or Sunday.  The only complaint I have is that the hose doesn't seem to seat fully.  There is a slight gap between the hose grommet and hose adapter that doesn't allow for a perfect seal cause by the weight of the hose.

Full review to come soon, but just wanted to share my amazement as this was my first time smoking out of a KM hookah.

Glad you like your hookah! I don't want to burst the KM bubble but every egyptian is going to smoke like this, wide-open draw, good purge, etc. Not knocking KM but welcome to the world of egyptians! I hope you enjoy your stay! :)

You have a beautiful hookah on your hands, don't let anyone touch it! Haha

  • 2 weeks later...

Gap between the port and the grommet? Got a picture? In the mean time, try wet aper towel instead of the grommet.

Fixed it.  Ordered some hose grommets with my order of shisha and they work.  Turns out the one that came with it was not wide enough to fit tightly in the hole.
