DrSmokes
I was having an issue with my purge with the ball bearing getting stuck. I was washing it off every week it seemed. So this last time, I decided to let it sit in some WD40 to clean off the gunk and hopefully keep gunk from setting on it. So far, it's been 2-3 weeks since I did it without an issue. Just thought I would put this information out there.

Chreees
Word. I actually polish my purge bearings whenever I polish my hookahs. Keeps the purges working great on my Syrians, even though I hardly have to use them. :P
DrSmokes
Word. I actually polish my purge bearings whenever I polish my hookahs. Keeps the purges working great on my Syrians, even though I hardly have to use them. :P Yeah, I use them maybe once per session...it was just annoying when I would have to take it out, clean it and put it back in during the session. The WD40 seems to have cleaned it up really nicely and now it isn't getting stuck. Hopefully this lasts for quite a while :P I hate taking it apart to fix the purge valve. Fatalshizot
I believe it's 6mm .20g but your standard airsoft will do.
â€On
I use airsoft bb's as well, however, wd40 works good. Leaving them to soak in a bit of gasoline will also do the trick. But, all things considered, I have only one pipe out of my dozen or so that will not accept a plastic ball bearing, so I see no reason not to just swap them out. Stuie
I still replace mine with airsoft BBs never have an issue after that.
Skoozle
im down to the last plastic bb that ash sent me free!! ima pick some up...anyone know what size is best for km's and nour? The ones I sent ya are 6mm. But that's about all you're going to find for airsoft pellets. You will have a choice of weights. The ones I sent were the lightest I could find, .12g iirc. mushrat
The WD40 didn't stink up your hookah? I'm surprised.... I ahve a hardware store that sells bearings so I just get a dozen or so of those at a time. :)

I let the ball soak in it, taking it out, cleaning the junk, and putting it back in the WD40...washing it off again and then putting it in the valve.
