kaoz187
hey guys. currently i have a km rainbow hose(which is ghosting) and a nice little nuhose disposable hose. I only use the disposable since the km hose taste like shit on every pull. and i was interested in upgrading to a washable hose. and i wanted to know if you guys reccomend any brands? i want one that will not ghost if that is possible and just a nice solid durable hose. i like the disposable ones but dam does a nice big hose like the rainbow feel nice in your hand. mustang67n
I have a couple nammors. I like them alright. The draw on one of them is kind of restrictive though.

dizzbizz
I've been getting the Tonic hoses just because I can get them locally. I think they're okay if you just need something cheap. Wish the handle was longer but they offer an "egyptian style" as well.
Nerdy
Nuhose, all the way. Also lulava has some nice washables and so does santino from crown hookahs. Nammors are nice but too heavy for me.
king_lunchb0x
hmm... narbish hoses have the rope handle similar to km rainbow. nammor and nagoom have a felt type material wrapped around the handle. I use my nagoom almost all the time. Even months after use it still is a bit stiff. I would say nagoom or narbish are better than nammor, (the last nammor I had fell apart after a few months). Chreees
Nammor is my go-to. Current favorite hose is the fretted Nammor. My friends too have found they prefer its performance over my Razan Abu Mahir (good luck getting one of those with how spotty NazarHookah has been with orders) and my Fancy/NuHose. All three are good. I had bad experiences with the earlier versions of the Narbish, so I continue to avoid them even though they're on version 4 now. Plus the design is a ripoff of the Razan Abu Mahir, which I determined to be higher quality anyway. Keep in mind most of these hoses are made at the same place in Egypt, just the vendors ask for specific ways for it to look and be built so they can slap their name on it to call it their own. Therefore they're all going to perform the same, more or less. Just go with what you think looks cool from the ones mentioned here and you should be set. mattarios2
I must say though, lately I have been preferring regular non washable leather hoses. I feel like after x amount of smokes, washable hoses are just stained and washing them doesn't do shit. I also prefer the "potential" health benefits with a non washable hose that has a coil in it, vs washable hoses.
kaoz187
hmm i wanted to try out a nammor since it has a removable mouthpiece and wanted to upgrade to a glass piece later on. but the Social smoke hose looks the best shipping wise. cant find any place that doesnt charge over 15 for shipping a nammor

Yep, definitely agree. Nagoom and Narbish (i prefer Nagoom of the two) are the best washables I've used, with Tonic Sultan coming in third (it took a lot longer to get the plastic taste out as it broken in, but it is good now) I must say though, lately I have been preferring regular non washable leather hoses. I feel like after x amount of smokes, washable hoses are just stained and washing them doesn't do shit. I also prefer the "potential" health benefits with a non washable hose that has a coil in it, vs washable hoses. I also agree with this. I seem to go through more washables than I did with non-washables simply because of that "tainted" taste they get after a while. Cleaning does nothing, smoking more does nothing...you just start smoking much stronger flavors to mask over it. Being that it's not humid here most of the time, the leather hoses can simply make the smoke far too dry for me, but lately it has been humid and the Elmas hoses are treating me so good. I wish I liked my Elmas hoses more, they are so badass, and are super long so they are easy to pass. I just always taste wood when I smoke with them. If I switch between elmas hose and another hose, it is day and night, one has a clean taste while the elmas hose has this tainted wood taste that I just can't get past. Does it just need to be smoked out of more and that wood/odd taste will go away? I have probably only smoked like 10 minutes total out of it. Ya, at first when I started smoking out of my elmas hose it had the goat spirit aroma and a bit of a wood esque flavor to it. But after smoking from it for about 2 weeks daily smoking the weird taste is completely gone making it my favorite hose.

Hassouni
Mattar what health benefits of the coil do you mean? Rust? LOL And yes, Elmas hoses taste like freshly slain goat and dogwood for the first few smokes but it dissipates.
mattarios2
Supposedly when the metal coil oxidizes it turns carbon monoxide in the smoke into carbon dioxide. Don't know how much it helps, but have been told that the metal oxidizing does in fact decrease carbon monoxide intake.
A Sharrp SYBIAN
Go for the SSPL i have an old school 1st Gen SSPL its over 2 years old. On the original model tips were glued in so the only way to take em out was to run lots of hot water. Then break the glue by just yanking out the old tip after running hot water. Then you have to put in a nice thick rubber bowl grommet into the hose then any tip shit fit i upgraded my old social smoke pro lounge recently after 2+ years of using the generic tip here she is in her new found glory!
