Bawhee Posted July 23, 2013 Share Posted July 23, 2013 not theory, generally experience talking here, phunnels retain the moisture of the tobacco allowing it to cook slowly and thats brilliant for Tang, AF, basically anything wet, that isnt the case with nakhla though, it doesnt need to be covered in goop to smoke and taste well and so airflow is better than no airflow in this case. I imagine if you could have both in the same bowl youd be set for life but since we cant have that airflow is more important to nak than keeping it submersed in juice :) for the record turkish clay bowls are the bomb for nak with flavor, think its cause theyre deeper but im not sure.
