Question About Smoking Tangiers Lucid Out Of A Pico

Recommended Posts

So, I've recently started smoking Tangiers Lucid out of my Pico, and I've noticed when I go to the clean the bowl after each session the top will be dried out, but the bottom will still be moist and probably smokeable. I've never had this issue with my small. Is this common? I pack the bowl fine, get great flavor and clouds. Any input is appreciated! Thanks!

That usually indicates too much heat too quickly or the pack itself was too dense or too loose... I'm assuming your using cocos?

You really want to build a heat up slowly the first 15-20 minutes of the life of the bowl. Do you get flavor out of it?

Just saw that you get flavor ... The pico is small enough already that bottom that is left shouldn't make you lose too much tobacco. Edited by Nerdy

It's normal, I get that in my small. I did notice less leftover juice and more flavor, though, when I started poking a couple extra holes down to the bottom. Maybe that will enhance your sessions?

Very common. Happens to me all the time, and I'be been smoking for years. Tangiers is made for long endurance, so it's why I prefer to use smaller bowls (Pico, Mini), as it conserves on my tobacco usage. I rarely ever smoke an entire bowl. To give you a point of reference on what I mean by endurance, I once went 8 hours on a Mini with Tangiers Indian Summer.

like everyone already said thats normal, but nerdywas on the right track about being able to smoke it all.

it needs less heat to start then more in the middle of your seesion go ahead and repoke the holes if you can to help it breathe since you covered most coals with ash and tobacco.
