Newbie Questions!

Hello, I'm new to this website so please forgive any mistakes I make! 

My first hookah I bought is not the best, but I figured for the first one, it doesn't have to be. I bought a 12' Mini Diamond Voodoo. Now for the questions! Please keep in mind my hookah. 

 

-Bowls: It came with a mod bowl. Should I get a better bowl or for now, with this particular hookah, stay with the mod bowl? If you do suggest getting a different bowl; what kind and what size and why?

 

-Hoses: Would a better quality hose make the whole experience better? Will all hoses fit in this hookah? Are washable hoses better? If you suggest getting a new hose, what kind? 

 

-Coals: Is it possible to light natural coals without a coal burner? How often do I ash the coal, and how often do I move it around the bowl?

 

-Accessories: What extra pieces make the hookah experience better, the shisha taste better, the cloud bigger, etc..? Please keep in mind I only have a 12' hookah.

 

-Other: Do I pack my mod bowl full, or just a little? When do I purge the air value and when do I keep it open/closed? 

 

If you have any tips and tricks to making the whole hookah experience better, please share! Any advice, or warnings, you have please tell me. I want to know as much as I can and make the best of my hookah experience.

Do not be afraid to ask (: what this is for!
For bowls..it depends on what kind of tobacco. Wet shisha is better in a phunnel type bowl so it can cook in its juices. Thats pretty much how all shisha is...more on the wet side. But any type of bowl will smoke fin! As long as u manage the heat just right. Mm purge if it starts getting a bit hsrsh. If it starts to get rough usually means too much heat so back off the coals.

My tip is just clean ur hookah mske sure it doesnt get nssty...have some good shisha...a good hose I like washsble, more cost effective..and most importantly just lesn to manage the heat...when to add or take off coals. Etc

hose..hmm all hoses are nice..there are cheap disposble ones. Their good and can be used for a long time usually just a thin plastic nothing fancy but works wonders. There are also twl other type one of which u prolly received with ur hookah. Washable ones and non washable. Imo non washable ones seem to taste feel andpull to em. But they have a metal coil in em that will rust over time so they have a life span. Washable ones are almost exactly the ssme just without the coil

Idk never packed a mod bowl. I have noticed tho that on ny friends thay the bottom layer never gets cokked. Might just be heat management. As for components...just ha


and idk about the coals. I do know that if they are not fully lit they are bad for u and will go out on u. The coil makes sure their fully lit. So im guessimg no just on a coil might be wrong
