Curious About Hope Hookah And Nakhla Hookah

Recommended Posts

I don't wanna separate questions to start new threads for each so I put both here.
Okay first
I saw positive reviews about hope hookah, I saw them from the banned vendor, easily can tell their design is from faridas and even their new hookahs 2013 models, look almost same to shika hookahs, suprise me how those look same. What is this brand? Are they making copies or same line? If anyone knows about hope leo,

Second question is about nakhla hookah not their tobacco.
anybody smoked those? I am curious about the draw and how they are purging. Share some experience if you already tried their hookahs, I can't find some reviews for nakhla hookahs so far.
Thanks.

Hope Hookahs are the cheapest solid Egyptian pipes. They are reliable decent average pipes. The Draw on them is equal to a KM I personally like some restriction. Nahkla Pipes well i used 1 for teh 1st time last night . In Short they are terrible.... Save your money. The pipe i used had a Chinese style open chamber draw was slightly worse than that of a Mya and it could not purge at all...  Not worth the 100+ price it cost. If you want a Quality pipe stick to Quality Syrians, Turks and Egyptians. That being said hope hookahs are solid there is nothing wrong with them, But a Nahkla hookah will greatly disappoint you...

Eric just did a major review of all of the new (or most) nakhla hookahs. He posted a link to it here somewhere. I think overall he rated the tall nakhla hookahs VERY low, low quality craftsmanship, hollow, just terrible quality all around. The shorter solid models he'd rated rather high, about on par if not higher than the newer KM models if I remember correctly. The draw and purge on them is similar to a KM maybe slightly less restrictive I believe.

Never tried hope. though.

so. in general, shorter, more solid nakhla models are good. His review had specific model names so if you find the thread (he posted it within the last week)

I just checked the link, the reviews are really low lol thanks for the link, btw if hope hookahs are different brand how farida and shika let them just copy their design? I am surprised again by their newer models this time copied shika just like they copied faridas...I will might get one as it's affordable and good reviews

Because all Egyptians generally have the same style regardless. Same engravings, same features, same draw, same same same.

An importer offered the opinion that the taller four Nakhlas were made of components from China. They are certainly hollow, no central core and whether they were assembled in China or Cairo makes little difference. Pure junk.

The smaller four I reviewed, the Hawonki Bell Ice Chiller was pretty good and the Shamshamadans (single, double and triple) are very good. Their cheap-ish too. Wholesale they're $28, $32, $36 including shipping, complete with all the accessories. Retail they should be $70-$90, $80-$100, $90-$110 respectively. The Halonki Ice Chiller is, wholesale, like $1 cheaper or more expensive than the double shamshamadan, so I would guess it should retail $80-$100 or so.
