ChicagoRSX
Well as some people around here know I'm a die hard BlackHawks fan. Family has had season tickets for 10 seasons. So incredibly proud of our team since Rocky Wirtz took over. Really hoping our team can repeat this season. Don't honestly expect it, but it would be awesome! Don't really see how you guys can get "grittier" compared to years past, but whatever. A former coworker of mine is a die hard Canucks fan, and he isn't the least bit happy to have Torts. I'm curious why it makes you happy. Not trolling, but honestly curious.

ChicagoRSX
Da Hawks. What about em :) 2 cups in 4 seasons, that's what about them. Good game, will be a good rivalry By the way Travis, where have you had Kobe beef?
Travis
The Hawks/Blues rivalry has always been a very good one. I like both teams, but Blues are by far my favorite. I've been following them since I can remember. As for the Kobe beef, I grew up in Jacksonville, FL. On my 18th birthday my dad took me to a casino and he bought me a Kobe steak which was awesome, haven't had it since for obvious reasons lol. Btw, Did anyone see Quick's (Kings) screw up the other day? I about died when I watched it, mostly because I hate the Kings, but partly because I can recognize that Johnathan Quick is too good of a goalie to be pulling errors like that. Travis
Also, tonight's game is the best game I've seen in a long time, including last season. Neck and neck right until the last few seconds.
ChicagoRSX
The Hawks/Blues rivalry has always been 3rd or 4th on my radar. 1st and 2nd has always been the Red Wings and the Cannot's. I like the Blues, but as soon as they are down 1 or 2 goals, then forget to play and simply turn into goons. Backes is really a tool. But yeah, saw Quick redirect that goal into his own net. I really don't think it's an "error" per se. I think it took a freak bounce into his net. I was actually lucky I caught the replay on NHL network, they showed a bunch of freaky bounces/goalie errors after that. But forget all that, did anyone else see that 18 year old kid on the Sharks kicking ass lately? 6 goals in 2 games anyone? And serious, a trick shot worthy of Pat Kane! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z-a-XPZqYIw Watch this goal, ridiculous.
Travis
Yes! I'm hoping he can keep it up. It would be a shame if he was just on some freak of a hot streak.

Yeah, I would love to have this kid as the new "next big thing" so I can stop hearing about Crysby.

He might be the next Ovi because he's gonna get bigger and plays a power forward type role. Now I'm just pissed at the Rangers. They have so much talent on paper but the 1st few games they played like absolute shit! I miss John Tortorella already! :-(
ChicagoRSX
I can't believe that douche bag Edler tried to head hunt Hertl. Such trash, it's what I expect from the cheap ass can nots.

I'm curious why it makes you happy. Not trolling, but honestly curious. The main issue I see the Canucks have had the past few years is they don't control the tempo of the game via hits. They have plenty of offensive power and a pretty solid defense. Which will only get better with torts. Torts demands that players block shots, that's what he is known for and it frustrates the other teams and helps the goaltenders as well. I also like to see coaches get invested in the game. Tort's shows how passionate about the game he is and i felt like AV didn't do anything to help the players step it up. He just kinda set back and watched I want a coach to be involved and motivate the players.
Travis
Blues play Hawks in Chicago next week and I'm beyond excited for that game. Sharks have been tearing it up recently obviously and I don't see that stopping anytime soon with their line up.

Coleman
Just thought I'd stop in an show my ducks support. Also went to the sharks first game against the Canucks to watch them kick some Canuck ass! Just because the sharks are the closest team to me to go to and my disdain for the Canucks..... A Sharrp SYBIAN
I'm Sad about how rangers are doing :-( They are missing their top 3 wingers though. That makes their top 2 lines out of commission. Also what their management did to Marty Biron is unforgivable. If they still had Tortorella behind the bench they'd be laying people out every game. They were once such a great team :-( Hopefully if they get there top 2 lines back they'l be good again.

fai0607
Go Avs Go!!! I just got into hockey two years ago and they were my team with their sucky coach Joe Ballsacco, now I am SO happy they've been improving!

fai0607
Is Roy their coach now? They kicked my flames butt last night :( Hahaha yeah! Good ol' Roy... He's crazy but we love 'em. I actually had to miss that game! I was doing class work during them. I heard your team has better management now. I always respected the Flames, albeit I joke with some fans and call them Flamers (I have friends in Calgary so it's a little joke between us. :P ) I've read some highlights however and it was a good game! Sucks I had to miss it :(
