Smoking And Weather

Hey guys,

 

It's starting to become that time of year where the weather gets to the extreme. I'm in the Springs and I know snow wants to come down here REAL soon. Problem is, I'm a college student and smoking inside is not an opportunity and sometimes neither is smoking at a lounge. My friends are also too turned off to smoke out in the cold, and stoking the hookah takes ages.

 

Any advice for someone smoking in the winter and snow? Followed up by this question: is the Mya wind cover sufficient enough for a phunnel bowl? (Getting the Mya Bambino by the way).

Let me quell a myth, 80% of the time Colorado Springs has snow, it'll be melted and warm by 3 in the afternoon. For the other 20%, it's usually warm enough in the afternoons anyway (warm being relative to how well you decide to layer up). Honestly, during the winter smoking outside in Colorado Springs, at least during the day (night gets a lot colder), there's no issue providing you wear winter clothes and not a hoody, shorts, and flip flops you'll see many people wearing. So, pack your bowl, light your coals, and have a smoke! And enjoy that mountain view I no longer get to see :)

It actually snowed yesterday for like five minutes but never stuck! That concept is so foreign.

 

We usually only smoke at night since we sometimes get harassed in the morning by everyone going to and coming from class. But I'll definitely start trying in the morning where the sun hits haha.

I have a few friends who are up in Denver and they always get all the snow haha. But Monument steals all the snow from us.

Your igloo post still makes me laugh, but that is a good idea. I do have some friends here with apartments and houses.

anything that says XL on it, or my personal fav one would be the kaloud lotus if thats in your budget.
