fai0607
H-S just started stocking them! The concept of steam stones seem to be expanding and I like the idea of them, especially with the demonization of tobacco with the taxes and whatnot this seems like a great way to enjoy brand flavors without hassle (especially for our Canadian friends). I never tried them myself, but with my bulk purchase I'm going to pick up a 50g tin of Blue Mist and the steam stones and make a comparison review on them. So figure about early December. Anyone else thinking about picking this up? also am i making too many threads I just feel like I have a lot of my threads floating around. Chreees
Lol, they're a little late to the game, aren't they? Bet they still try filing lawsuits anyway. :)
Stuie
I will eventually, but No stones can ever beat Shiazo Eucalyptus Mint!
Chreees
Shiazo is still the best I have tried, hands down. I smoke the Blueberry flavor regularly. A hit among my friends. They love the huge "fuck off" clouds. :D

They love the huge "fuck off" clouds. :D Honestly I was looking into the Shiazo stones (more specifically the organic line) but I've heard just too many positive reviews on Starbuzz Blue Mist and "blue"-flavored anything is my favorite. I never smoked Starbuzz before but it's a hit with some of my friends here so I figured I'd pick up the shisha and stones and see how they match up to the original. While we are talking about Shiazo however, anyone know if the relaxing organics honestly work?
Chreees
Starbuzz is infamous for filing lawsuits trying to claim they own the rights to certain flavor names, even simple common ones such as "sweet melon." It's quite ridiculous, and made many, among myself, come to despise the company. There's so many better brands out there compared to Starbuzz, so I can't imagine their steam stones being any better than what's already out there. I highly recommend you pick up the Shiazo instead or as well and see what you think.
wek-sos
Is there any difference between steam stones and tobacco shisha, other than the base material used? As in, if you took out the stones and stirred in some washed tobacco, would you end up with regular shisha?
Chreees
The stones are nicotine free, as there is absolutely zero tobacco in them. The end result is the same more or less, but with the stones you will not receive a buzz.

One of them even smoke Tangiers and their alternative shisha is Starbuzz. That is completely ridiculous. For such generic names like that? Did they even win those lawsuits? I'll definitely pick up the Shiazo, probably a similiar flavor to make a comparison on that as well. I just want to try SB at least once and I'll most likely never buy again, I'm just experimenting with a lot of shisha (as I've only tried: Fantasia (favorite thus far!), Fumari (but it was destroyed with chemicals because at this hookah bar I went to they chemical cleaned their hookah and it tasted like oxyclean), and Al Fakher). If that's the case, I don't see why most brands are sticking to tobacco only. There's a market somewhere for steam stones, especially for all glass hookah users that don't want a mess to clean up. Bawhee
the steam stones juice gets just as blackened and stuck to shit as any other thing you heat the fuck up to smoke!
dizzbizz
Yeah, I was thinking in terms of making your own shisha. I think that's a decent idea that might work. Might be counter productive though.

fai0607
I wonder if you could take an e-liquid and add nicotine to steam stones... So those who'd want a nicotine buzz could still achieve that. If not through the steam stones, then add a nicotine e-liquid to herbal shisha. Just ask Santino at CrownHookahs, I know he's done it.
fai0607
Think there would be a line of nicotine herbals/stones too? I feel like it'll still be demonized in some way, as for as law and taxes go that is.
