fineout
looks more egyptian to me, but im not much of an expert on syrians.
antouwan
stylistically, looks pretty syrian. there does seem to be somewhat of a merging of styles, though just in general regarding hookahs. knock on the metal and look at the ports on the underside. typically speaking, syrians tend to have solid pieces around the stem as well as narrower ports on the bottom. egyptians, on the other hand, tend to have more hollow components with larger ports on the underside as well as larger gauge downstem. Its a syrian style chinese hookah. Are you looking at the same gold hookah that i am? I mean the little gold brass syrian not the bigger gold one on the left of it(that is an obvious chinese pipe you can tell by the ports). The little gold 1 in the back on the right side the same style syrian as the hookah this guy bought just it isnt nickel plated. All that being said i have seen these hookahs floating on ebay. i think they are syrian but i like the syrians i have more :-)
