king_lunchb0x
mizo is wetter for sure and if I'm not mistaken mizo is washed...?
Bawhee
Pretty much that, regular is gonna have more of a tobacco flavor and if youre not used to nicotine content might give a buzz!
mattarios2
Mizo is not washed. OG is just a little stronger because it is more tobacco and less juice. Mizo is more candy/sweet flavors. That is not always true but generally it is. Lychee, cherry, apple, and a few others are not sweet. But yes mizo is more wet, easier to attain larger clouds, both can attain the same sized clouds but as I said, it is just easier with mizo due to the moisture content. mushrat
I think Mizo is a little higher quality. They had to do something to keep up with all the "premium" versions other brands like AF, Layalina, Al Amir, and the rest were coming out with. Hassouni
I respectfully disagree that Mizo is higher quality, because I think the original Nakhla, with 10 years of retrospect, is one of the best mu'assals on the market, and that quality carries across the board. Loony, the differences as I see them are: 1. Mizo is wetter, but still not that wet when compared to the other "premiums" out there, or even AF. 2. The Mizo cut is different, it's a bit finer than the regular Nakhla cut. 3. I think the flavors are a bit more accurate (maybe this is what Mush means by quality?), especially in fruit flavors. Mizo guava not only has the flavor of guava down, but it accurately recreates the astringent mouthfeel of guava. Mizo mint has a pure cool minty-ness over and above regular Nakhla mint. I like Mizo Peach more than the regular variety, etc. That last point doesn't diminish the "quality" of regular Nakhla at all - Mizo tends to be the more intense fruit, etc flavors, and there isn't much overlap with stuff that Original Nakhla has nailed, like Double Apple, Sweet Melon, the spiced ones, obviously any of the unflavored ones, etc. I suspect Mush is right in that it's a reaction to the "premium" labels other Arab producers were coming out with. mattarios2
I wouldn't say higher quality, I would say a cleaner taste though. OG has a dirtier, tobacco-ey flavor that some love some hate. Mizo doesn't have that. Also I agree w/ Hass on every point he made. WV - no worries my man. BTW, did you try the khan el khalili aka - gods gift
Chreees
I agree with you, John. I prefer Mizo in the end because of the cleaner flavor.
mattarios2
Yeah for me it depends on what I am in the mood for. Heck I smoke khan straight quite often.
