What Is The Best Small Mya Hookah?

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I was using the mya qt (s class) hookah and was very happy with it. Now it is broken and I am looking for a new one. I am looking around for another hookah from the brand MYA. Which one do you suggest me to buy. I would like to have quality material and quality taste of smoking.

Or try http://www.myahookah.com/ . They are the official website for Mya Saray. Not to mention, better prices. If I were to buy another Mya right now, it'd be the Bambino, or the Vento or Mono. I've owned several QTs before, along with several other models. I've always been pleased with Mya's quality.

Hi,

Thank you for your fast answer. Can you tell my why you suggest me the MYA Vento or MYA Mono? Is it because the multiple hose options or the taste of the smoke?

Not really. I only mentioned those as they are what I would personally get if I were to get a Mya right now. They all smoke the same- just get what is most aesthetically pleasing to you. :) Some models have more options in how many hoses you can add, but I wouldn't worry about that, as hookahs function best as a one hoser. More hoses, more opportunities for leaks, and it's more of a hassle dealing with the auto-seal bearings in the other hose ports. In my experience, they tend to stick and you have to have one of your buddies blow SLOWLY into their hose to unstick your bearing (I say slowly because water can and WILL shoot up the stem and drown your bowl of tobacco). I always recommend a one-hose setup, even if you're smoking with multiple people. All of the hookahs I own right now are one-hosers. But if you HAVE to get a multi-hose, Mya Saray is the best. The QT can do up to two hoses, but some models like the Vento if I'm not mistaken can take up to four. Just go with whatever you think is best for your situation, and again, which you think looks best.

With the Mya hose adaptor you can make just about any hookah into a 2 hose. The bambino is one of the ones you can't but personally I never use more then a 1-hose hookah anyways. To many problems with airleakage through second hose or the auto seal gets stuck...

But yeah I love the design of the bambino too, looks awesome and comes with a nice hard case for travel.

See....I wrote a bigass reply but I'm on a stupid tablet and i touched a key and it all disappeared, so this thing being a bitch to type on, I'm gonna summarize it. Go for any small mya except their econo line. They are all good. But it seems from your posts that you think that the "taste of smoke" depends entirely on what hookah you have (I could be wrong), and such is not the case. There are a lot of other factors involved, which if not done right to a certain extent can mess up your hookah sessions big time. The bowl you use, the coals (very important one: avoid quick light coals like plague), the tobacco, and even the hose (although, as long as yours is not too restrictive or rusted from inside like those mya hoses usually get, then not that important I guess). You can find lots of info on those on the forum. So you can look if you want, otherwise, go with qt or vento or any other mya hookah......they are pretty much the same as far quality components and smokability go. Phew.

Thanks everybody. Sometimes I am wondering why I am stuck with the small mya. Do I need to try some other better hookah? I have a budget for 75 usd. So I can also get a bigger model of mya like the mya mozza. I have smoke early with this hookah of my friend. It was very good. But I cannot remember if it is better than the small mya hookah's. Can someone tell me if there is some differance between the small and big hookahs?

The sad thing is 2 hose hookahs are nothing more than a gimmick. I fell for it myself with both mya pipes and syrian pipes. The problem is yes they have mutiple hoses but only 1 person can smoke at a time. when 2 people try to pull simultaneously it becomes a fight of the lungs where there can never be a winner. both people end up getting zero smoke. Its best to have more than 1 hookah. Mya's are great and all but I like variety. I'd have 1 mya,, a Syrian, and a KM / farida :-) Mya pipes are quality pipes and the best pipes to ever come out of china however there are so many options these days. However If i were set to get a second Mya I'd hit up Mattarios on this forum he is selling a beautiful rare Cloisone Mya with 2 bulbs those go for over 300 and he's selling it for a lot less. plus They are the best pipes Mya has ever made imo. check it out here!  http://www.hookahforum.com/topic/51111-brand-new-cloisone-mya-2-ball-with-cloisone-hose/

Vento is my new favorite. It's stem is solid cast like the old QT stems. 4 hose option and the base is super think and looks great when smoking.

All the small hookahs I have left is my very old QT and Vento.

I was reading that the mya qt s class is better than the mya qt other models. Which mya qt do you have? like in my starting post?

Not S Class. S Class is the same stem used on the Mya Chic. It's has thinner walls.

Mine is either C or E

My Tray sits on top of the stem. There bowl adapter doesn't screw off... so whatever class that is...that's whay I have.
