Name That Km

Recommended Posts

So I know I should know this being a vendor, but it just seems that every store just makes up there own names for the Khalil Mamoon pipes. My distributor calls this the black shareef, but other vendors also sell a black shareef that looks completely different. Anyone know the real name for these instead of the made up ones :)

I would tell the other vendors to kick rocks and to name their hookah something else haha! I like the look and the name!

Yeah, I agree. This piece is beautiful I love the engravings on the stem. We were just adding them to inventory but really clueless on the name. So I guess black shareef is going to stick. lol

Here's the up close, the first pic makes it alittle hard to see

Call it the New Shareef in Town.

Are we sure that's a KM?

Dude, the clear lines are now being blurred when trying to distinguish hookah manufacturers from one another. They're all copying each other these days! Perhaps I'm a bit biased, but I am particularly fond of the Egyptians that have Syrian qualities to them. :)

I agree, it does have Farida style engravings, but as Chris pointed out, the lines between manufacturers are blurring. For instance, the Farida Corona. If I didn't mention it was a Farida, I don't think many people would guess that it's Farida straight away, as it doesn't have any of the characteristic Farida points to it.

Sorry, biggest picture I could find without taking a picture of my own (which I'm currently in the process of modifying), but it has NO engravings on it. All that metal is completely smooth. It has a couple turquoise bands on it, and purge that looks like an oversized syrian, a huge old style km hose port, a smooth, wide and shallow tray with no lip. Basically, nothing like a Farida. Yet, there it is.

And this is a Nammor stem.

Nothing like the Nammor ports, styling, etc.... It's plated brass with lovely engravings, which is something you would never expect Nammor to bring to the market. I saw it on Hookah-Shisha so I know it's legit.

Wow some of those look great. Keep scrolling, they have more! The brass ones are on the first two rows, I'm guessing the ones at the bottom are hollow SS. But wow... I just sold my Temsaah, I might have to pick one of these up. They look very similar, if not better than the Temsaah engravings.
