HELLZGATE
Well I just got my Romman "Double Apple" in from H-S.com and I must say I was more than thoroughly dissapointed, this stuff is made with a liqorice, wich the site makes no mention of, and tastes NOTHING like apple, and everything like liqorice (wich I personally cant stand), if you hate liqorice stay away from this stuff. Anyone else feel like they should make some sort of mention that this flavor tastes nothing like apple?
Erica
It's a pretty general consensus that Double apple taste like black licorice. Regular apple and triple apple on the other hand taste like apple. Maybe a little warning would be nice though.
Blue Lantern
Tastes like star anus. I felt that the Romman Double Apple was probably one of the worst shisha purchase I've made in a while.
azcoyote
If you hate anise, steer clear of AW Lemon - it's got some lemon and a major dose of anise. AW Double apple is pure liquorice flavor with no hint of apple.

aronparsons
Yeah, double apple usually has an anise/black licorice flavor. If anyone wants to trade their double apples, let me know; it's one of my favorite flavors. :-)
gumonshoe
Smoking Romman Double apple as we speak. I agree with you that it is pretty anise like. Addes some rose to the mix and it is much more pleasing. Just a thought if you can't get rid of it.
