David Scott Weaver
Hi guys/girls i have a few questions and here's a little background on my situation. So i smoked for my first time a few months ago and i got a buzz which i liked. and i had fun. im looking to buy my own now but im not sure on a few things: 1. Is an E-cig for hookah like the Star Buzz E-hose better for you then normal hookah? (Because of the coals) 2. Will the non tobacco give me a buzz? 3. Is there a difference between herbal and non herbal? Thanks for reading, hope you all have happy smoking :)
king_lunchb0x
hey! wlecome here..I cant help much on the e-hookah/cigs but i believe you can add nicotine(which causes the buzz) by using liquid drops, which i think you can add into the e-gizmos. As for hookah tobacco its self non-tobacco products like Herbal tobacco will not have a buzz. But the buzz strength can vary in tobacco's....like washed and unwashed. unwashed will be the strongest. Hope this helps. When you get a chance check out the rules and banned vendor list.
Chreees
Welcome to Hookah Forum, David! To answer your questions- There's no scientific research that says which is better, hookah or e-cigs/e-hookahs, so can't really give you an answer as to which is healthier. Yes there are coals with hookah BUT if you're doing it right you won't be burning the tobacco. The layer of foil plus proper packing methods prevent it. No, the non-tobacco stuff won't give you a buzz. All you can get is light-headed from hitting it too frequently, which isn't what you want to do. Herbal just means it contains no tobacco therefore no nicotine, and non-herbal is just tobacco. Different brands of hookah tobacco have different strengths of nicotine, so that is what mainly determines the kind of buzz you'll get. For example, Al Fakher and Starbuzz have a lighter buzz, whereas Nakhla and Tangiers have a bigger buzz. As for the Starbuzz e-hose, I say stick with hookah. It's much more satisfying. And cheaper. :) Hang around the forums, ask more questions, and have fun. We're here to help! fuckthatvincekid
1. There isn't enough evidence to say yes or no either way. Any form of smoking tobacco is harmful in SOMEWAY, although anecdotally I would say the health effects are negligible, as are "e-hoses". 2. No. All the herbal has no nicotine. Is there a particular reason you are choosing to go that route? Steam stones are also a decent option if you're going with a non-tobacco alternative. 3. Yes. Herbal is entirely without tobacco (I think they use sugar cane fibers? I could be way off haha). A thing a lot of people will attest that the normal tobacco-based shisha is far better in terms of flavor, variety, and price. There are several low nicotine brands if that is a concern as well, just ask if you have any more questions.
Addison Roberts
Ive been hearing a lot about how e-cigs & hookah pens are bad because your lungs can not stand large amounts of liquid on/in the pours of your lungs. She's a doctor who studied the effects of ways to quit smoking and was saying it works but its still bad. I don't know if its proven yet but I have heard that from quite a few people. Anyone know any specific facts about this?

I'll snoop around but I'm doubtful I'll find anything.
