Boho Sticker

Recommended Posts

So my sticker is starting to come off on my BJ Glassworks boho, and because I'm so OCD it's bugging the shit out of me. It's just the corner but I can't get it to stick back down. I'm really careful with my bases so not sure how it happened, but I'd like to prevent it from coming off any more if possible. Do you guys know of any kind of protectant clear coat of something I could put on it? Would mean a lot to me if someone knows what I could do. what do you care for more? the actual boho or the sticker? Stickers are only good for resale value if you intend to keep it who cares if the sticker is coming off? Should you superglue the sticker back on there will be a little glue mark on the crystal. and it wont be noticeable unless you look through the opening and see it at the bottom but you will look through the opening at it will be noticeable. That will be throwing leaves and paper onto the OCD fire... In any case, i say leave it be. the boho itself is more important than the sticker.

Sybian- I just like to keep it on there as nice as possible if I can. No plans on EVER selling it, as it was a gift from a good friend on here. Ashley- Thems fighting words right there. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Well you can wait till it cleanly comes off, then you can get it back on with a little clear epoxy. Epoxy can hold anything and isn't noticeable. That is an incredible gift. Didn't mean to say that. I'd cherish a gift like that forever! I love my BJ Genie! even though i paid for it myself! lol

I'd say rip it off since you don't care to sell it. I ripped my made in Syria sticker off of my good quality Syrian base unknowing ah the time the sticker held value. Still don't regret it especially after finding a stem that fits it.

Dude I had a Made in Syria sticker on my Al Nawras Spear when I got it. When I removed it folks on here told me I was a dumbass, lol. But hell, how was I going to polish my hookah with a sticker in the way? With the boho, it's on the bottom and doesn't really ever get wet. I think I'll borrow my wife's clear nail polish and apply it to the backside of the sticker, see how that goes. I've used nail polish on car decals before with good results, so I'm hoping for the same on glass. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Did you have a "tobacco use only" sticker on it as well? I removed mine and felt stupid afterwards, my friends made me smoke some Hydro Herbal shisha after that and it was not too pleasant.

i would just leave it , especially if your not going to sell. even if you did sell it , its obviously a boho personally i think the sticker is mostly important on a boho you've never seen before to prove legitimacy

Yeah, again, definitely won't be selling this piece. Honestly the only part of my hookah collection I could even consider selling is my Tokel Canary, just because I'm not as attached to it as I am my two Al Nawras hookahs and their bases (this red BJ Glassworks boho and Group Elegance red genie), along of course with my Syrian trumpet that Hassouni brought back from Lebanon for me. These things mean a lot to me, whereas the Tokel Canary doesn't really. Regardless, I am happy with the tape method. You can hardly see it, it's clean, and I know it will prevent the sticker from peeling any more. Thanks again for the suggestion, John. I knew a boho fiend like you would have something up your sleeve! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
