Codyb88
So I'm using a semi sharp knife and a paper towel to cut coals on. Thinking to myself there has to be a better way, one involving less mess either but splitting coals better or reducing the mess. Any suggestions? kaoz187
I just put the knife on the coal...and rock it back snd fort while applying a good amount of pressure and it just cuts it thru. But im using coco ultimates which are not that dense.

wek-sos
I have a cutting board dedicated to coals. Then I use a rusty old steak knife and a hammer, while the cutting board is in my sink. I usually just cut half a box of coals when I get it so I don't have to make a mess every time
Skoozle
I burn half of the coal off by smoking with it. I honestly can't imagine cutting coals in half. It annoys me to have to break up GS sticks into tabs.

mattarios2
you guys are so damn lazy :-) I can cut an entire box in about 10 minutes. Simple knife, dedicated cutting board, and brute force! I cut them because it makes my sessions way better and of course a heck of a lot less CO.

That_guy
My brother used to, and my family all bought a bunch of shit from him. While the business is pyramid, the product is good.
mattarios2
When I can't find my knife to cut coals, I just use my bare hands.
Hassouni
You beast, you. I don't often cut coals, but I have a bleedin' heavy cleaver I use for bones and whatnot, so that plus a tap from my granite pestle makes quick work of it.
â€On
I just open the box and start prison shanking it. Eventually I'll end up with some that are nicely and evenly broken.

Skoozle
I can't imagine why no one makes a half size coal. Seems like an untapped market.
