Hookah_Husky
I ordered a hose adapter for my Mya QT to convert it to a 2 hose. It should be a simple thing to do; unscrew purge valve, screw in hose adapter. However it looks like my purge valve is corroded in place, I tried to turn it with my hands and it wont budge, even tried some pliers (wrapped them so I wouldn't scratch the hookah), and no movement at all. Any suggestions on how I can remove this?
Chreees
Try some WD-40? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
wek-sos
No movement even with pliers? You should try something like this rubber jar opener to get more gripping force. Looks like you have some hard water deposits. If the rubber gripper won't work, try some CLR or wipe it down with 1 part vinegar, 4 parts water. Hookah_Husky
Got it loose. 20 minutes soaking in WD-40, small rubber mallet, and pliers. Cleaned it up with a copper brush.
Cloud-Hookah
Lol, so much work for a 2 hose. Hope you like it.
wek-sos
Put a little bit of thread seal tape (PTFE) on both hose ports, it should come out easier next time.
ilikemyusername
MYA used to be such high quality, it's a shame that now they're using cheap metals that get all funky. I've dealt with it with my mya, I'm over it. In the future you can use a product called PB Blaster. That will loosen damn near anything. Lube your mya or do a complete breakdown when you're done with it.

It just makes it easier than passing 1 hose around.
Pavo21
Yikes 15 people to one hookah! I recommend everyone just chipping in some money and buying more hookahs lol. That sounds terrible I can't stand sharing with more then 2 people
CzechMate
15 people is pretty rough. lol you pass it around twice and the bowl needs to be repacked. just buy more hookahs man.

Hookah_Husky
I have others. There are also usually 2-3 other hookahs set up besides mine, but people like to move between, as well as come and go.
Bawhee
Im most comfortable sharing with one other person, thats a good way for one person to make a point in a conversation, switch, the other... if Its 3 people thats still ok/borderline, if its more than 3 people you need an extra pipe. 15 people 5 pipes is the minimum Id say.
