New Starbuzz American Made Hookah.

Recommended Posts

If you bought it and it's your style then I say go for it. Personally, I'm not into it. I can't tell from the pics posted but it looks like it has a common chamber for the hose and purge. Also, the hose port itself looks oddly shaped and I question how well a hose will stay in.
All that aside, a single bowl of nakhla cardamom will ghost that motherfucker like you wouldn't believe!
Truly a real mans tobacco.

They're definitely not common. They are traditional chambers, else I wouldn't have purchased one.
I ain't trying to rip on you for it, I'm not one of the narghile elitists. Does it come with a vase and tray?

I didn't think you were. :) sadly it does not. It is an expensive investment but if it's not a worthy one I guarantee it'll be my last from SB as a whole.

I believe it comes with a tray but not a vase/hose/bowl/windcover/tongs etc.

I bet they wait and see how they sell, if they sell well ... they will come out with a line of accessories like windcover and tongs and charge out the ass for that stuff too.

I bet they give a 5 yr warranty on their accessories too ... BUY NOW only 79.99 for windcover and tongs package. Buy now and receive a 5 YEAR WARRANTY with your purchase ... wait ... FOR FREEEE!!!!!

Needing a guarantee scares me. I have an H-S Pharaoh and Mya QT over a decade old.

Looks like H-S is gearing up to sell them as well, for about $10 cheaper at 189.99

I think it's more so for assurance. If it's as well made as they claim then I'm sure it won't be necessary. Edited by Codyb88

So, just got these in yesterday. So far they're awesome. The hookah is more solid and feels better built than any Egyptian. The tray is massive and heavy not cheap and bendable like most. The hose is probably the biggest hose I've used, I can barely wrap one hand around it.

I don't like metal tips. But that does look nice. How much was the whole set up?

The tip on the hose isn't metal. It's a very hard plastic. The setup as a whole including stem. base, and hose excluding other items was $264.

Smoking 50/50 brambleberry pineape. Just has pumpkin earlier. No hint of pumpkin after a quick rinse. So far this pipe stands up to its statement about no ghosting. I'll try cane mint soon and give feedback. I've only rinsed this pipe out and have smoked at least 10 bowls since I've had it. Ghosting doesn't seem to be a factor after rinsing.

The real test is to smoke some afzal pan rasna then do a quick rinse and see if it ghosts.

For the most part if I just do a quick rinse in any copper pipe it seems to not ghost much at all, but pan rasna ... that is a different story.

Trying to rid a copper downstem of Pan Rasna before selling... any tips?

When I ghosted one of my pipes with it, I scrubbed it with hot water and dawn soap. Let the Dawn soap sit in the stem for a solid couple hours, then rinse it with hot hot water. Then I blew threw it a bunch of times so it was dry, and then I let it sit for a couple weeks and the smell dissipated on it's own.

That's the new Starbuzz hose. Apparently the Brazil Hookah guys tried to bring their production to America via Starbuzz but never paid up, so SB is selling their products with the Starbuzz logo.

As you can see the Brazil Thunder hose http://5starhookah.com/Thunder-Dark-Hose-TNDH.htm

...and the Starbuzz Lightening hose http://5starhookah.com/Starbuzz-Lightning-Washable-Hose-SSWHS.htm

The hose Cody posted is the Starbuzz version of the Thunder Pro hose http://5starhookah.com/Thunder-Pro-Hose-THPRH.htm

I don't know when vendors will get the hose, but it should be considerably less than the Brazil version. Surprising that Starbuzz has the lower price!

Stuie I've used the Tonic and one of the Starbuzz Lightening (literally no difference except for colors) and the only thing I liked more about the Starbuzz was a removable tip.... which doesn't mean anything when you can't fit any other tip in there.

Damn, that Thunder hose isn't available. Really like the look of it to replace my dying Nammor.

I doubt they will ever be available again. Brazil Hookahs didn't pay up Starbuzz, which is why SB is producing their hoses under the SB name now. Things like the BR Bowl have been out of stock for months, and it doesn't look like they are interested with doing business in America anymore.

I believe one vendor is carrying the Starbuzz version of the Thunder hose, probably in a few weeks others will have it in stock.

Cool looking pipe, but I can't justify spending that kind of money on a hookah like that. I'd sooner go with an all glass hookah for that price. Or a Farida.
