NERV
there is a store near me that i just found that sells 3 kings for $1 a roll or $9 a box, i would assume that online purchases would be cheapest but i heve never seen anyone even close to this cheap, is everyone putting the same markup on 3 kings or are these guys gettign them dirt cheap somehow? NERV
damn right its a deal, i almost pissed my pants when he quoted me the price, no other purchases no shipping costs, just $9 straight up and a box of 100 coals
HookahCulture
It's a TOTAL deal. They're good quick-light coals, and everyone else charges near or over DOUBLE that for the box. If I saw that deal at a store, I would LOAD UP.
NERV
well i dont really need to "load up" as the store isnt going anywhere, a box at a time is fine, they had some nifty hookahs there too, one of them has the most beautiful hose i have ever seen, and if the rest of their prices are reflected in their coal prices then i may never need to order online again, their nakhla is also $3 for a 250 box and $2 for a 250 of d apple
entrailsgalore
well its sometimes wise to buy maybe 2 or trhee boxes worth because it might be a "special offer" kind of thing and the next time you go there its regular price. Or the next time you go ther ethe place is burned down by a hookah accident and you wished you bought mroe because its only 9 bucks a box lol but Im sure itll be tehre for awhile.. The price I mean. HookahCulture
Well I load up, as my local store runs out of stuff and tends not to re-order for awhile. This applies for spicy hummus powder as well as charcoal types and Al Fakher. Those great Chinese coals I love have now been replaced with Nour. At least I saved the bag. "Get THESE ones again!" I wonder what the next batch will be......
MR Bubble
Scrub e-bay. If you guys remember: I found a deal by Socialsmoke selling 3 boxes of 3 Kings for $27. That would put them at $9 a box. I think what is happening is this: They have changed. 3 kings is now a larger diameter coal and the rice is around $20 or something. The original 3 kings have been replaced by what is now called "3 Queens" (they don't seem to burn as hot). I think they are trying to get rid of their stock of the old 3 Kings so they can get on-line with the new product. Well, maybe.MR Bubble
The Devils Playground
Just 2 coments on this 1. #1 3 kings are $9.00 - 10.00 a box wholesale. #2. I know theres counterfits out there. Remeber if you see a countertop type display its fake. I will say from a consumer point of view. real or fake $9.00 is a great deal as long as they are not a dodo coal. The Devils Playground
I knew it was old but not that old wow. I was addressed for posting wholesale price. I do apologize for that to the vendors. I felt it was needed to show I was not bashing the people that sold them that cheap but more to be a warning to people shopping that sometimes a deal is not always a deal. I have been lucky so far as to miss counterfits. But I keep hearing they are out there from distributors. God knows theres Marlboro fakes out there and I avoid them all the time.I just can`t figure out why hackers dont get jobs and people with the skillz to make a good counterfit does not just put their own name on the product and build their own name. Like we plan to do some cool mixes that are popular in the shop and rather then call it something that already exist we want to just sell it as our own mixes. The biggest 2 problems I have so far are what do we call them and how to package them so they are apealing when you get them.A shop here in Vegas was making their own lables and marketing it as Monster Hookah Tobacco. Holly spect hours looking for it and finally had the kid go back and ask about the tobacco and found out he was making his own mixes. That would have been cool but it had Monsters logo on it. Again a deception that could have put him on the market but since he was shady the word got out fast and he actually hurt the shop he was in from the deceptiojn. Snoopy1966
Go to the food shops in Milwaukee, you find coals and Tobacco very cheap. I can 3K in Chicago for $8 for 33mm and $10 for 40mm. That was about a year ago, but I do not think the prices went up at all, if they did I am sure it is not much
