With the screen screwed on the top in a worst case scenario the entire hookah tips over you will only get some ash on the floor and no burns. I am very sad that my bowl for it broke and replacement ones are no longer available. I'm not saying you'll use it every day, but for camping/hiking, it can't be beat.
