What is the rssbot and all of the news posts all about??

They have it set so the website automatically pulls news stories and posts them. It's easier to stay on top of all the new stories on hookah instead of shifting through a bunch of news papers.

Precisely. Whatever hookah news is happening in the world, rssbot finds it and posts it here. It's been around forever and was deactivated for a year or two. I reactivated it earlier this year, since I think it's kinda neat, and it helps us stay on top of the current state of hookah in culture, the law, etc.

And I am so glad you reactivated it. I love using it and when it went away I cried.

I think Mush deactivated it because it kept mentioning marijuana (not sure). But now we have laxed up on all that...

We still frown upon talk of using it in your hookah, and obnoxious discussion of it in general (i.e. "I SMOKE WEED EVERYDAY MAN!"). Just not going to give you a 7-day ban over mentioning it here and there anymore like we used to do years ago (I know for a fact nobody has been banned for it in over a year or two, we just never updated the rules to reflect the change in policy). I feel like with two states legalizing it and more on the way, and the DOJ deciding to not pursue these states, there's no point in ensuring there is absolutely, 100% no mention of it whatsoever on the forum.

 

So, who would like to call us Nazis still because of our rules? :)

I agree with these points, this is not a forum dedicated to the use there-of so we shouldn't be discussing it regularly. But it does make for a good conversation especially today with all the politicking going on with it. I think you have a good way of running it this way.
