Scalliwag
I don't like sushi and most patties. I make some patties with seasoning and cheeses that I like. All the rest you mentioned I love
ghostofdavid
There is an all you can eat Sushi bar 20 minutes from my crib!! I've never been because it is 20 bucks (inexpensive). Maybe I will go in a few more weeks when I pinch pennies!!
Evil_Spork
Farm raised = poisonious!!
thats a myth. farm salmon as just as good as wild. and in fact can be better because its consistant.my mom worked as a fresh seefood buyer for many years, she had been to the farms, and the fish processing plants, etc. farm raised salmon is just as good as wild and will not harm you. SanguineSolitude
maybe poison wise its just as bad(just as good would be incorrect since both contain mercury anymore) but quality-wise wild raised salmon tastes better.
xpimpitox
there is a difference in farmed and wild. i find the not only the taste better. but the texture of the meat to be more firmer in wild salmon than farmed. i cut these damn fillets all day when im at work i just like the look and feel and taste of wild even tho im not big on salmon alltogether. on a fish note we are gettin in some wild king tomorrow mornin i get first dibs w00t! [LB]
I read some stuff that wild salmon is better and healthier, too.
I think thats cause they are more in shape, and if you are what you eat then its probably better
steve
we have a mercury problem with wild salmon that come into the Great lakes I only eat a few a year but at my NPO (non profit ) we have a stream that comes in from Lake Michigan. This weekend there were no less then 200 fresh salmon that just came in from the lake it was a blast. I bet I hooked into 50 in 2 days let all but 3 go and spawn I kept 3 I had one smoked the others i gave away to friends that asked me to bring them some
